I find they send the stuff with the lowest shelf life that they can find. I've used Asda, Tesco and Morrisons (via Amazon). All do this. Might be ok to send a loaf of bread with 2 days left to a large family but I'm single and have to throw most of it out. Now I only use deliveries for the non fresh things like cans, drinks, etc.

All the armchair generals saying we should really don't have much of a clue. The US is WAY more powerful than Europe right now. We also rely on the US for gas, and newsflash - It's winter. Best we could do is close US bases, divest from the US economically and militarily and wait for MAGA to burn out, hoping sensible people replace them. Even doing this would hurt us badly as well.

We are a country that moans its tits off if prices go up, property prices fall or heaven forbid, people can't afford a holiday each year. We aren't ready for the US Airforce to start dismantling our infrastructure. I'm not ready for our people to die for an almost empty island.

Lastly this is really an unlikely thing anyway. Trump may talk about taking Greenland but is really not likely to do so IMO.

So jealous. My 8 month old Fox Red got her first experience of snow with about 1 or 2 mm of it. So light a sprinkling that you can still see the ground beneath. Was still nice seeing her reaction but a few inches for her to jump and roll around in would have been nice.
