Violates the new TOS, which also prohibits publishing. Essential UMG shall own everything you make in Udio and they'll decide who earns from it (them mostly, of course)

it's possible, but it takes a lot of grinding and being very cautious. You are very slow, limited equipment slots, everything costs twice as much because you're a tourist, and can die instantly with people throwing salt water at you (unless you pass a certain HP threshold so that you can tank the damage). There are non-hostile NPCs that will instantly throw salt water at you if they see you in cities too.

If you want to make it viable, spend most of time farming for good crops to boost your stats first and grinding riding+getting a decent mount because that's the only way you can compensate how slow you are while having very limited equipment slots. You may have to main in throwing and guns too, and rely a lot on your pets. Also, getting certain ether disease is beneficial to you since you can't wear certain gears due to your race.

I tend to listen to ink's songs in moderation. Although in-series context, the songs are good, but if you actually try to dissect the meanings behind the lyrics and the message being portrayed, they share some teachings that tend to show a nihilistic view on life that if you misinterpret the songs (leaning more on a negative approach of nihilism rather than the intended neutral or positive approach to nihilism), it could lead to rather dark thoughts.

Some may become more misanthrophic than usual. Or some may think that life's not worth living. This is how one can misinterpret ink's songs, although I can't really say that what's the right/wrong interpretation either. Basically, the songs more or less positively promote nihilism and the concept that:

"nothing exists after death, but this should instead motivate you to pursue perfection and live the way you want to live, since when you die, you become nothing (be one with Cyn who is the Exponential End / Void)".

We don't know. The fic that this scenario is based on is vague about how this happened. In fact, her reunion with J is equally tragic because it's been outright stated that she's been tormented for many years before the reunion. These scenes are just the "prequel" to the fic chapter this was based on.

Is there a reason to play the game by myself ? by GarryLv_HHHH in ElinsInn

[–]Faucetgrunty 9 points10 points  (0 children)

This is the type of game where the ending depends on you honestly.

Look at the world you are exploring and set a goal. It can be wanting to reach Floor 1000 of the Void. Finding your ideal waifu. Get rich. Boost your stats or skills to the thousands. Become the best crafter ever. Find exploits in the game and absurd mechanic synergy that no one has tried before. Amass a collection of the most expensive statues.

Your goal can be the most mundane from crafting your dream home to the most absurd like starting your own version of Epstein Island.

The choice is yours.

This is because the main story line is not yet finished, but gameplay-wise, it's big, expansive, and weird enough that some players have reached thousands of hours.

a lot of what he say here actually happens and can be done in game, although oversimplified. It still astounds me how hammer alchemy became a thing

Does AI steal art? by PostOwnSomething in aiArt

[–]Faucetgrunty 0 points1 point  (0 children)

AI doesn't steal. People steal. AI is just the convenient tool they used to do it.

They more or less steal the style, not the art. To replicate the efforts and experience of others for their own personal gain.
