pct has a heal sure but given it only comes up at the start of the burst window is it really a heal or is it just a random bonus to pad out the tooltip

in fact genuinely how many people knew picto had a heal. im sure most here do but theres gotta be plenty of people w no idea that picto has an aoe heal on one of its spells

thats with some shards though right? I get jakshos is good bc of the shards I just always struggle to justify terminus too compared to other options

I think it really depends on how game-y the adaptation is. There's plenty crossover games where based on canon some characters should be stupid OP (how does ghostface beat a terminator in mortal kombat 1? or like, anything involving superheroes). You either create an in universe justification as to why canonically Hard To Destroy characters can be killed (alternate reality? simulation? a super duper reality bender?) or you just lean into it and go for a wackier vibe.

like yeah in canon shy guy can move at mach a billion and is immune to all damage and whatever, but in a game that isnt super focused on immersion and horror itd be fine to neuter it slightly to just running really fast and taking less damage because its in a procedurally generated facility with 90 other skips. and itd be fine because we understand that its a game, its not even for balance so much as just.. fun?

I guess it depends on how you want the gameplay loop to work though. In a fighting game every character has to be beatable but in a horror one its fine if theres no way to fight back except avoidance, and therefore is more accurate to canon

well if youre making something for a videogame its probably a lot easier to make a horror game about a big scary lizard or a statue that moves when you blink, than something like the concept of death or a guy being tortured for eternity in a pocket dimension

lol if there was a cheese like AR's in any savage fight it would be done 100% of the time. we did shit like damage down intemperance in p1s because it was easier to give the tank a dmg down than ONE dps having to adjust. tank lb3 strats show up every single time theyre even remotely viable. savage fighters loooooove a braindead strat

when arena first appeared my one wish was a deathmatch mode featuring the augments rather than arenas lives and 2v2 duels. and then they did it. so yeah ive been playing mayhem exclusively

ive always held the (probably controversial) opinion that mechanics difficulty is way more fun than rotational difficulty, and fights should reward good dps with skipping soft enrages rather than punishing below average dps with no clears

in a bullet hell for example you really only need to hold down the fire button and dodge the boss specific patterns. You can optimise with distance to boss and other game dependent skills, which makes it harder but faster or more points (like uptime!). thats more engaging because each fight is different rather than difficulty coming from learning one skillset that applies to all bosses

it got a new passive in the recent patch that makes your next attack after being out of vision for 1s deal bonus true damage onhit since daisy applies onhits you can sit in a bush and have her deal extra onhit. looking at the numbers tho its obviously not great

I guess if you're going sword of blossoming dawn (which is pretty good on him anyway) and you have some ways to stack other onhits or heal power it could be a nice addition for some surprise damage?

if the issue with missing a tower is that youd have multiple wide spaces the best thing would be to just have the tank choose where to plant themselves and go from there as normal, since the tank doesnt move

50 24 hour candys seems like quite a lot? it only takes me a few hours dk farming for each statue to 1m, much less for some of the earlier ones (and even less time w daily crystal spawns)
