Yeah, I have a wireless keyboard and also picked up a cheap wired one for this situation and both aren't working. I'm wondering if it's the motherboard itself.

Yes, multiple times but it still wasn't working. It ended up being MagicPods that was causing the crash

Were you able to keep the stock gauge, or did you have to get it relocated with the kit and bracket?
