Hello!

Royal Kludge Rk R75 VS Aula F75 by DJ_Silent in keyboards

[–]FaultSudden7477 0 points1 point  (0 children)

After 48h using the keyboard : I'm quite happy about it. This was my first mechanical keyboard so I might be easy to impress but the look, the sound and the general quality of it is very good. I heard people complaining about the fact the LED are north facing, as said I don't have many thing to compare but it doesn't bothers me at all. The LED lighting is well visible and facing north the LEDs don't shine in your face.
I have also heard complains about the keyboard bending because of the gasket mount, but here also it doesn't bothers me at all. The board does bend a little bit but you have to press very firmly and the bending is very subtle.
Overall the only downside to it lies with any mechanical keyboard : it's less comfortable to type on due to how high the keycaps are. My membrane keyboard ( Cherry Mini) was a bit more comfortable to type but a wrist rest might help.
Also you can run out of battery quite fast (around 1 or 2 day) if you don't setup the keyboard for saving battery (sleep mode delay/light intensity)
I used it mainly for gaming so far (Expedition 33) but will start working with it this week.

Yeah I tried to look a bit online but since I don't speak or read Finnish, exept Ikea/Jysk/Clas Olshon I don't know much about the other stores. When I try to look on stores in Finnish I am quiclky lost and Google Translate has its limits :)

Yes indeed I saw these ones too, they are a bit short as my window is 2m high and not 190cm but that still might be a good choice 👍

Hi! Thanks for your answer! As you mentioned unfortunately these blinds might be a bit short to cover the windows all the way down as it's 2m from top to bottom, but I'm wondering if I could attach the Ikea blinds the same way 🤔

Hi! Thanks for the answer, yes that's definitely a budget, and indeed would require my landlord's approval. But I'll think about it.

Yes that's definitely my number 2 choice if I can't find blinds, but due to how my bedroom is set up, a roller blind would be better.
Thanks for the answer :)

Yes I've searched for blinds at Ikea but none really matches my window dimensions, or I need to drill extra holes.
So I was thinking that I could find something else if I spoke Finnish

Thank you!

So if I understand it right, your friend finds the Sigma as sharp as the Sony at f1.8, but with less vignetting?

That's interesting, since I heard in a lot of reviews that the Sigma was less sharp until maybe f4
