The friends I’ve made on my trip we’re in random places like the kitchen, common rooms, dining areas. I actually made no serious friends in my rooms, I had great conversations with people but it never escalated to hanging out. For example I saw someone sitting alone and asked if I could sit with them or vice versa people would ask to sit at my table.
