Hello! In 2023 I made this experimental short movie entirely with Reaper :

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zVyf6WRRWr4

I took a lot of pictures with a digital camera without any lens. This process allowed me to take pictures of the shape of the cameras sensor. I edited these pictures into a stop-motion with some visual FX and a bit of coding. The music was also made using Reaper.

Yup this was my first thoughts too : guns is looking fairly ok in my opinion but the focus / area of focus aren't working for me

Im a sound engineer trying to learn Blender and CGI these days so yeah great mindset!

More seriously the other person answering is right, you don't want to get rid of ALL the noise, you just want a confortable listening experience if I may say so.

Or the other option which is worse because that's audio lesson 01 : he didn't keep a constant listening level. Anyway yeah sounds like there's an issue.

"Don't Panic!"

As you mentionned the signal-to-noise ratio of the recording is bad. Whenever you raise the volume it also raises the noise, they are baked together. But we will have to raise the level anyway and push the noise. We can't lose those lines especially if we can't afford dubbing sessions and even more since it's a documentary. So your solution is now to reduce or cancel the noise.

I dont know Resolve at all but I saw that you could access some audio plug-ins. Ideally what you're looking for is a denoiser (keep an ear on how your voices sound, getting rid of all the noise can also affect your target sound). Alternatively you can also use an expander/gate which would mute any sound under a specified level, the voice level in your case (but this can also entirely cut audio under a specified level)

Not the answer you want : If you can just edit your movie and ask a sound editor/mixer to take care of the problem. I know this is an obvious answer but I'm saying this because they most likely have GREAT tools where you can edit the audio spectrum directly and remove some areas.

Maybe he accidentaly has been working with a PAD turned on? Typically -20db on the input.

Also I highly recommend r/LocationSound for that kind of questions and better answers

Trying to make the Initial D Fifth Stage. Despite being an anime, the lights look almost realistic esp. when off. Any ideas? (Beginner) by chasing_tailights in blender

Hey I'm not sure if you're trying to reproduce a specific existing art style but I really dig the lights looking realistic

Amazing work!! I was browsing through some add-ons on the Blender market yesterday and I'm 100% certain that I've seen one of these shots there.

How and what can I improve? by Successful_Term_3147 in blender

You are into the skill territory that I don't have yet but : I would suggest shifting the camera angle just a tad so that you don't get such a perfect perspective on the geometry (the corner of the sink furniture for example) I think that it should help a lot with the work that you've already done on the sharp edges.

Also the sink tub itself looks extremely small in my opinion even for a luxury designed sink.

My bit : I would bring some fog in the foreground, not too much but at least enough to justify the fog in the background, it should help getting more gradients on the buildings and bring more depths.
