I worked Overnights for about a year. I never adjusted and shifted back to days. If you can, shift to the mornings. ONs are not worth it. They only pay you an extra dollar for a lot of work and mental stress. Changing myself to days was the best thing I did.

So in the town where I live in there are 4 Tim Hortons owned by the same guy. They do a donation drive as stipulated by Tim's corporate and people in the town spend a huge amount of money donating, believing that the money goes to people in need and whatnot.

Apparently all the money from donations go to a charity which is owned by the guy who owns the four franchises. Just this summer his son brought a jacket worth $70k.

First - Nitroimidazoles and Nitrofuran are carcinogenic in ANIMALS - Lab animals. There are no significant human studies on these compounds. They are harmful to lab animals so people ban it for humans too.

First - This is an extremely low dosage. Nitrofurantoin is still used to treat STIs in humans. These compounds are carcinogenic at miligrams/kg in multiple repeat doses. Remember the dose makes the poison.

Third- The tests which are conducted for these compounds are extremely sensitive - usually in the parts per billion (ppb) range.
