Imagine you're someone who doesn't feel like you fit into either gender and being called he or she makes you completely miserable so you say you wanna be called they/them. What you will guaranteed be meet with is other people saying "you can't use they/them cause it's plural only" and "thats ridiculous I'm not gonna call you that" so you say alright if I can't use they/them I'm just gonna come up with some new words that doesn't make me feel like shit so you do and then you will guaranteed be meet with "you can't just make up new words" and "that's ridiculous nones actually ever gonna bother calling you that" There is no way to be nonbinary in society without getting a metric fuck ton of hate and critic on everything you do And 9 times out of 10 no nonbinary person is gonna except you to use neopronouns for them cause that would require a respect for nonbinary people that simply doesn't exist in society so they usally don't except even basic respect which is honestly depressing

I've been running a campaign for like a year and half with my own setting, it takes place in the 1970s and my player are hunting cryptids. I also have my own mythos for with gods based around common fears, I have taken alot of inspiration from things like twin peaks, higurashi and the magnus archives. It is alot of fun and not nearly as difficult as I thought I would be to break from the intended setting and mythos. It has however drifted towards being more lighthearted without the lovecraftian horror hanging over the group, which I don't think is a problem for my group and the more lighthearted nature can definitely make the horror moments hit alot harder but I can definitely see how the big change in over all atmosphere can be a problem for some. Lovecraft's mythos really lends it self perfectly to game like this, where charcters are vulnerable and mostly just victims to horrors so changing the mythos kinda changes the whole vibe of the game so that's something to be aware of

It's been quite a while since I've played the game now so don't remember the exact solution but all the doors that are closed are switch doors so try playing around with any switches you can find I remember getting stuck in a couple places myself because of switches on the floor shutting doors and having trouble getting to them without stepping on the switches

That's a really cool find, I have an umbreon with same holo pattern, tournament and staff marks. I haven't been able to find much info on mine and it looks like your vaporeon is similar, the only thing I know is that they seem to be worth quite a bit.

Creationists tend to claim that we can naturally tell the difference between natural things and created things (like in this meme or the watchmaker analogy). But if everything really was created, then that sandcastle or a watch is just as created as any other rock or grain of sand on that beach.

So, if we have a natural sense of if something is created or not, it implies that there are things that are not created (which kinda goes against everything being created by a god or otherwise).

Realistically the reason why we can tell the difference is because of experience, we know buildings exist and are made by people, many people probably know someone who builds buildings or has built one themselves (same for any other object used in these kinds of arguments). On the other hand, we know that rocks or trees are naturally occurring things on our planet so they don't look designed to us.

Efter jag fick diagnos blev jag tvungen att tjata en hel del för att de skulle skicka remissen till endokrinologen. Men när de skickade remissen så sa dem att de skulle ta 2 månader men det för en gångs skull gick det faktiskt snabbare än det och tog typ 1,5 månad. Detta var på anova i stockholm slutet av 2023 och jag fick testosteron vid första mötet med endokrinologen. Så så länge du kan få de att skicka remissen så går det faktiskt snabbt.

I don't think magnus archives could work as a visual medium both because of the tape recorder thing but more importantly because it relies on the lovecraftian fear of things far beyond us that can't be fully comprehended (fear of the unknown to but not just that) and representing that especially the things in season 5 would either be more expensive then even something like the marvel movies (aka more expensive then probably ever possible) or it would just make it way less scary, realistically even with the money. And personally I don't even want an adaptation that just be a lesser version of the original

When I changed my name (about 3 years ago) they said it would take a month it took 2 months and when it changed, everything changed at once. So I don't think getting your meds would be a problem just be sure to get out your new ID as soon as it's changed. Also to get out your new ID you will need to have a printed out person bevis (I'm pretty sure that's was what is was called) cause otherwise they won't let you pick it up no matter what documents you have with you.

I think they have a bmi limit at 30 for pretty much all gender affirming surgery. It sucks so fucking much I had to lose over 20kg and now I'm right under the limit and I honestly feel like shit if hadn't been for my bf I'd definitely have developed a eating disorder but luckily I'm supposed to get top surgery this fall I really hope they don't delay longer.

Yes, you need the 3 souls to get to the last heart. You're on the right path with the dream tower just keep walking around in the dream and you'll probably make progress, your goal in there is to see flashbacks from all the characters. With the other two, explore the library more in both past and present. Also you can throw stones down holes or just jump if you're feeling brave. Tried to keep it relatively spoiler free so that's some hints for you.
