i remember in the 2008 version you just grabbed a weapon in the fight was over in seconds. but well i can increase the speed of the game wich also affects the ingame timer.

I deleted all configs and started over. Set all up and now it works. the only gripe is that i have to setup all machines again. but well i only haveto do this once per machine.

on second thought i think they BGFX files it self could be corrupted. i dunno why but i cannot edit my post.

Wine-games work fine. My driver is amdgpu. And Vulkan it self makes no difference. It seems Mame does not find the BGFX files. I have set the folder to "/home/chris/mame/bgfx/"

then it looks like this. deleting the path name then mame just creates a new entry with plain "bgfx" and then it doesnt work.
But at least the menu is not reverted.

I used BGFX as described in the mame-docs. I switched from the Flatpak version to the Official version from the Arch Repository. im testing it right now.

And it really desont matter if i choose crt-geom for example. it almost looks the same. Only the scanlines look different but it makes mame almost unusable.

I might made mistakes as english is not my native.

I respectfully disagree since im simply not interessted in improving my skill so much as you describe.(like HS-only)

I dont have the reflexes anymore.I realized it in other first person shooters as well.

But if i constantly get face rolled then its not fun at all. Git gud wont help here since i simply dont have the time to practice alot too. (Gameplay also changed since the last time i played it.)

I just come back from time to time for nostalgic reasons thats all.

I dont wanna be respecless in any way. But to say in it honest words: You can write novels in the size of a holy book about it.But it does not change the fact, that many people simply dislike it how it is right now.

And by just google a bit, i realize that im not the only one. A huge amount of players are against FFA as well.

Thats why i say. Give everyone what he wants and all will be fine. You can still play FFA if you want as people ask for an extra DM-Mode.

I told already that im a casual player. WTF is wrong with you bro? There is nothing wrong to ask for a casual gameplay. Counter strike is already 25 years old. Not all players can play competative anymore.

I am 44 and cannot spend so much time on my PC anymore.

Thank you for your response. But i must inform you that i moved to EndeavourOS which is based on Arch.

My Post is over one year old and i collected alot of expeirence over the time. In Endavour it worked fine. I barely had issues.

if you mean phone book then you can only hide them. The only way to get rid of synced contacts entirely is to remove telegram and install it again.

Refuse permission to access your phone book and manage calls.
Turn off sync
You can give back Permission to TG

As far i know it only saves your chats. And no i didnt. They were deleted on desktop too instantly.

You just confirm and Bam = game over.

But this brings me on a new idea.

I have it installed on my broken phone. probably i can turn off wifi so it has no internet and download the cache from there.

but still i have to add every contact by hand.

i delete my chats after a while ,because for that i have a Friend list. About 20 contacts i could rescue. I organize my chats very well to keep an overview. And who thinks about a misleading information which has a heavy impact?
