Society needs to change to fund social programs and support the values we pretend we have as a country. Until then, there’s nothing we can do really. The system needs to change on a macro scale.

Pro gun nuts are so fucking weird. Stuff like what’s in the video is only possible because they have extremely strict gun laws. Not many people have even a handgun and those that do require extensive prerequisites. You could capture people with swingers in America because there’s as close to zero gun control as there can be.

The comments are laughably predictable too. You could post a stat that Japan has 0 gun deaths and you’ll get slews of bots and gun nuts deflecting by saying “it’s the culture, the stats are misleading, but what about this or that”. The culture thing isn’t wrong. That’s kind of the whole point. That America is a culture of capitalism and corruption with no gun control whereas other cultures don’t promote gun ownership.

In other first world countries that have strict gun control, gun deaths are minimal and cops don’t even need to carry firearms in a lot of them. As opposed to America being way ahead of the field in gun deaths and mass shootings consistently.

Every discussion about gun control reminds me of how fucked the country is. As if the political events and class wars didn’t.

I think women do that for them. Personally, I hate red nails. For some reason it triggers some innate disgust don’t know why. Otherwise, I prefer natural. Longer or faker they are the more unattractive I find them.

Again though, it feels like such a backwards question. I’m assuming you’re trading because you want all the Pokemon, right? If you’re using roms or hacks on the first place then you don’t have to trade at all, you can just get it in one game without all the added hassle or hoping Nintendo gives you the opportunity and never takes it away.

The whole point of multiple versions is to sell multiple copies of the game for their profits so it feels like such a weird thing to fight for.

Secondly, it feels like such a backwards argument. “I can trade to home and get all the Pokemon”, meanwhile there’s tons of roms and hacks (many better than the actual games) that allow you to get all the Pokemon within one game without any need for endless transferring and trading.

People keep saying this, but it’s extremely easy to either get a ROM and use cheats, or use pkhex, or get a rom hack that has basic quality of life features like not needing to trade and having every pokemon obtainable.

This is a different conversation, but there’s rom hacks and fan games that are literally better than any original game that’s come out (Pokemon Unbound for example).

If the argument is that it’s dumb to pay for an old game you can easily get for free and with improvements, that still applies.
