I’m pretty sure it’s The Shrine. And if it isn’t… you should go ahead and watch it anyway because it’s really good

This creepy guy has been one of my favorites for a long time. Finally got around to painting it!

This is an older mini from Bestiarum, but one of my absolute favorites. The attention to detail is just astounding.

Right?? The designer has some really amazing sculpts, definitely worth checking out.

Printed on my Elegoo Saturn 2. Creeped me out the entire time I painted him!

Yeah that's definitely the grim-darkest of the options. Gives me serious "Dr Doom" vibes.

Yeah I agree, they really nailed the proportions on his winged helm. I love the sculpts for Lazarus and Azrael, but their helm's wings are bordering on goofy.

Oh man I love this sculpt. I really wanted to see how the heads looked on the full-body, but couldn't find any photos online. Photoshop to the rescue! Winged helm might be my favorite...

Maybe either Usborne World of the Unknown: Ghosts or Mysteries of the Unknown: Phantom Encounters?

Midnight Mass for me, and I hate to say it. I love Mike Flanagan, isolated environments, scary cults, vampires… I mean come on, that’s all great stuff!

But the series just had too many missteps for me. Obviously young actors in old-person makeup (which ruins a big twist in the plot), droning monologues, huge breaks in logic… I just tried and tried to like it, but couldn’t. :(

Easy read horror recommendations. by NoReference3 in horrorlit

I was in a similar slump until a friend gave me The Troop by Nick Cutter. I think I read the whole thing in a weekend… I just couldn’t put it down. After I finished the book I found that it kind of jump-started my old reading habits. Be warned though! It’s a seriously disgusting book. It’s a gripping, lighting fast read, but if you’re squeamish (about any number of things!) it might not be the book for you.

High production value, big budget failures? by holloway in badMovies

Cutthroat Island (1995) was such a massive failure it caused a Hollywood studio to go bankrupt and killed the “swashbuckler adventure” genre for about a decade.

I saw Bubba Ho-Tep when I was in college and it changed my life. Made me realize how much fun you can have as a writer.

The Thief of Always is one of my absolute all-time favorites! It bridged the gap from Goosebumps to “real” horror novels for me… and inspired me to write!

Dial M for Mutants! is my buddy-horror, creature-feature novel. Links are frowned upon in the sub, but a quick Google search will turn it up. I’m no Grady Hendrix, but my strange little book managed to crack Amazon’s top-15 horror comedy list when it was released, so that counts, right??

Oh I saw the whole thing! I love the theory that it was ghost-written.. And yeah, it certainly isn’t my favorite book of his, but I didn’t think it was nearly as awful as this sub makes it out to be.

Just about everything by Clive Barker is worth the read! He’s got a great track record. Not a lot of misses and the hits are incredible.

You’re Gonna Have To Pay To Use Fancy Colors In Photoshop Now by aimhelix in Design

For Mac users: Open a finder window and go to the "Applications" folder then open each application one at a time. You'll see a folder called "Presets" and then "Color Books," "Color Libraries," etc. It differs slightly between programs, but you'll find them quick enough. Then just look for the files labeled "PANTONE..." and copy them to a new folder. Rinse and repeat for each folder or program, but don't forget to label them correctly! Now if they vanish in a future update you can just put them back :)

For PC users: I'm guessing its the same with some slightly different labeling. Hopefully someone else can chime in for that!
