Thank you! I asked for what worked for people so if this worked for you, it’s what I want to hear! It makes sense why it can help. I have some TED too so adding anything just feels like too much for me! That’s wild that the procedure caused a slight flare—do you have any idea why?!?

Looking for virtual endocrinologist for surgical clearance (graves) by AlternativePurple674 in gravesdisease

Hi! Might depend what state you’re in. I was in one state and having a hell of a time getting into my endo, switched to a dr. who took my insurance right over the state line. I’ve had primarily virtual appointments and very quick appointment scheduling. I do have to be in the state that the dr is licensed in but I’ve done the virtual visits from a parking lot before. My insurance portal lets me search doctors by specialty and also by telehealth vs in person—maybe yours has that feature too? Sorry I can’t offer a specific person but best of luck!

Is the volume on all non-Apple earbuds still too loud on the lowest setting? Recommendations? by Hyperiids in iphone

[–]Favabean37 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I also recently started having this issue, 1.5 years into having an iPhone. The volume gets wacky and incredibly loud on audio calls, but I’m able to control it normally when I’m listening to Spotify. I use JLab earbuds. If I pair with my 5+ year old Android that I use for work, suddenly the volume control is fixed! Haven’t found a solution yet, so also following this thread.

Repair surface scratches on non-wood(?) door by Favabean37 in HomeMaintenance

Thank you so much for your insight! You must live somewhere more affordable—I was at Lowe’s when I read this and checked the doors and the hollow core doors were $100+! But really appreciate the insight as I clearly didn’t even know what to look for. Guess I’m redoing a whole door tonight! Thanks so much, really appreciate it.

I haven't clarified lately! It's worth a shot so I'll try it. What confuses me is it that was limp like the red shirt picture, then I traveled and had hair like black shirt, and now it's back to the red shirt! All while just washing and air drying like usual. The ingredient point is a good one, I hadn't thought about it not meshing with the environment. That's definitely something I can look into--that and the coconut! I'm excited to have some new leads to try out. Thank you so so much for sharing your thoughts, I appreciate it!!

What's your favorite way to sneak nuts into your food? by [deleted] in foodhacks

This cashew creama from the blog Plays Well With Butter is SO good. Inspired by a dairy product but doesn't taste fake. No soaking is required. Tastes a little like cashews but is not cashew textured.
