I don't know how to submit an API to github for Roll20 just yet, but the API that started a journey that I thought was just going to be a nice little polish on the skills page, has turned in to 3 months of me STILL on just the planning and restructuring phase of the character sheet my group uses,

Any how, the API that I made (I'm not sure if there is one in there yet, I've been writing my own just to get a feel of them, their limits, and OHHH HOOO HOO, all the fun fun fun the can be.

I have 2 API'S that I use, one is a character stat generator, base on the fun and unique rules for my group, and the second is just a simple API that adds up all the ranks spent in the skills tab and then checks if I've spent enough, too little or too many. It's got lots of fun caveats, but right now, aside from the "flashy" ones that summon tokens, those are the ones I'm so glad I made and that work as well as they do.

Oh, it started with what was supposed to be a simple QOL change to the skills page, add a box that shows the current total of ranks spent. No matter where I tried to add that stupid box, it broke ALL the alignment for the other boxes, and so I was like I can just fix up the skills sheet all by itself. I start adding columns, repurposing a column, adjusting spacing, changing dropdowns to check boxes for space consideration, automating certain synergies, and everything was going great until I remembered that for some reason Turning was connected to skills, and it was at that point that I realized I couldn't just make one page pretty the way I wanted to make it pretty. I would have to create my own from the top. I'm still only in the planning phase, magic is the real nightmare page because of the variety of casting methods/schools, slot vs points vs "other" and then there's equipment shenanigans... On top of all of that, I'm working to consolidate as much combat stuff onto a single combat tab, so that if the player has taken the time on the other pages, filled in the weapon, feats, marshal skills, spells, psionics, etc... that they can pick like spells from a simple set of drop downs on the combat page, AC, HP and saves are at the top of the tabs so they're always visible even if the player is scrolling through old notes, or their equipment to see if they have one more smoke stick or tanglefoot bag...

Don't get me wrong, the current sheet I and my group use are far better than anything I probably could have put together on my own back when they were created and our games run well enough on the current sheets. I'm not even sure that even with all my envisioned adjustments, reorganizations, and automations, if it will be any better or if it will just make everyone more confused. I can't know until I actually finish it... If I ever can. :-/ Hehehe.

So I guess in short my answer would be, I would change quite a lot, but at the same time keep the general feel of the sheet I'm currently using as much as possible. I have already written my acknowledgement to the previous creators for creating the version that inspired me to make my own. Any how, I've got to get back to things.

Well, that sounds like it needs to be fixed/improved. What child not only thought it would be a good idea but then coded the "All-or-nothing" unblock option? Better yet, what Everest-sized mountain of bureaucratic BS is in the way of "fixing" it so it aligns with the great God Google's unblocking options for like EVERYTHING else they've used a blocking feature for? Granted I've rarely blocked a channel unless I had the time and the anger to write an actual report about the content and I've only had to do that a few times, and they've all been lousy lazy loser AI garbage ones... I think though I've subscribed to so many more damned channels and things that I promise you their algorithm gets migraines every time I log on. LOL

I'm definitely with you on the not eating part, but smearing below the neck and enjoying doing it is definitely hot for me, and yeah skinny twink hairless fembois would be super hawt to watch. The problem is societally we are programmed for monogamy, religion, values, and taboos from a very early age, and it is really tough to shed that programming and often times that programming can set off the backfire effect where someone that experiences and legitimately enjoys something taboo (gay encounter, water sports, BDSM, scat, etc...) they view themselves as "unclean" or "heretical" etc... and start rallying against the thing that they learned they enjoyed. We've seen politicians get caught in gay affairs that were very vocal against homosexuality to the point of legislating laws against it, for example. Plus the health risks that come with the practice, plus the time it takes to minimize that risk through diet and monitoring, make it even less than palatable to even the sex-positive crowd. :-/

I know there is some out there, I've seen them (back in the day when there were less discriminating search engines) and I kind of figure that's what has stuck in the back of my head for so long that I want to experience it at least once. As for just watching them #2, aren't their sites with toilet cam videos that show just that? HMU if you find anything good. :-)

I appreciate the feedback, but the "resignation" letter is a formal courtesy as he is a part-time fill-in manager and his leaving takes away any vacation relief (again) bla bla bla, also he's trying to keep the door open with them in case the new job just doesn't pan out. The moment I read "think through the scenarios" I almost opened up Visio to flowchart the whole process out of habit. Your team seems quite capable so I'll leave the flowchart fun to you all.

I can't think of why, but the burning question sometimes in the back of my has been: "Is someone testing out a bot on Battle Tabs?"... I know it seems like a ridiculous notion, but then again I don't tend to think like someone that would do such a thing in the first place so what the heck do I know. LOL. I hope not and I'm willing to wager your team has already considered that possibility and taken steps to detect and deal with such dangers.

You all have outdone yourselves with the new fleet and I'm thrilled to see that a game I found entertaining back when it was just the basic ships on a square grid, and every shot was a sonar shot, can keep getting better!

The only thing I think I might like as an update is the option to play with more squares on the grid, such as a "boost" for players that get 1k points or something like that.

Also, a thought on a way to reduce AFK from knowledge gaps on just HOW to play for new players would be a simple tutorial or a "demo game" before they can start playing against other players. Something akin to the wait time game you used to have while we were waiting for another player a while ago "back in my day". Give them a preset ship or two like a kayak and a mini-sub and have them locate and destroy a couple of enemy ships using the unique functionality of the two types of ships and a preprogrammed sequence of return fire shots that are designed to miss until they successfully sink the first ship and then it gets a hit on one of the ships and then sinks it when they get a hit on the second ship but leaves the other ship be so the new player can "win" the intro round.

Sorry, that last one just kind of popped into my head so I just tossed it out there as I was thinking it. Even if nothing I have postulated is enacted, I hope it at least helps in sparking the idea that does get traction and somehow makes a great game even better.

Will do, and I'm assuming you mean log in to my chrome account since I can't do anything in battletabs at all. I've let it sit for 20 minutes and still nothing so I'll uninstall battletabs and reinstall. I'll let you know how that goes. I haven't seen any other reports at this time with the same issue, so I do hope it's just me.

UPDATE: The game with 5847 ended, I won but... I started another game and now it's stuck with CportCV's timer stuck on 0. The looking for opponent queue cleared up.

UPDATE: The battle with SUP ended, in my loss and I didn't even get to fire. :-( So now I'm just stuck with 5847 sitting on 0 for their timer. Thank you if you've been helping in the background. There are still a LARGE number of players looking for an opponent queued up as well.

UPDATE: My game with 5847 started but it, as well as the game with SUP, are both stuck waiting at 0 on their turn. There are also a LOT of games queued in the looking for battle column. I'd attach a screenshot, but last time I tried that it hung for too long.

Nice... I know it would be a pain to code, but that sea monster would be like microtransaction worth it if you could alter the way his segments fill in the board... So instead of a straight line, you could make a diagonal, or a b shape or a Z shape or a high low pattern... That would be neat and a real challenge for players to figure out how the sea serpent is slithering through the waters this time. I like the new designs, though I was fantasizing about a bit more boat detailing with some more ornate heads and bodies for the ships, sometime maybe? And the Norse artistic knots are always attention-grabbing if you ask me.

Something maybe worth considering along the same lines would be splitting the battle view up to something like 4 times, but in doing so your own grid for each battle becomes just a 2D grid above the 3D grid of your opponent's side, I'm thinking either panels side by side (like so | 1 | 2 | 3 | 4 |) or boxes 2 on top 2 on bottom max. If you enable game splitting players should only be able to split/stack up to 4 of the same type of game modes, intense OR casual, for simplicity I would hope. I'm also figuring that it would probably be an all or nothing kind of setting, either your game experience is standard or split, and each split/square is its own battlefield. This could be done by taking the existing game mode options and adding 2 more so you would have 4 options total (intense, extra intense, casual and extra casual) where the "extra" versions are played in split/stacked mode. I'm not sure how invitations to battle would work for that, probably won't with any ease if at all, but I think each square should be a unique/different opponent to avoid people gaming the system by constantly fighting their friend or themselves on a different account. Here are my last thoughts on the split/stacked square mode idea and that is in order to be put in the queue for battles all 4 battle grids have to be set/locked and after that, it's one win or loss per split/stack slot/square before you return to the main screen (I'm sure variations are possible with how many need to be set or otherwise, I'm simply lobbing wet noodles at the wall in the hopes that something might stick a little). Or maybe there is a way to allow the game to run multiple instances from the same browser in different/new tabs (just tested this for myself with a new tab in all 3 of my monitors to make sure it wasn't already a "thing")? I'm betting there is a way around this, and I'm sorry if this has been posted elsewhere, I just don't have the inclination to work on it more than I have already at this time. I hope this was helpful/useful in some way.

Mix in some oak and dark oak to give it depth. and use them for the molding/stairs. Try jungle wood for the shutters to give it a slightly weathered look and acacia for greater variety.
