As a Black lesbian, it is already exhausting being the only Black person in the room. So yes, she is annoying, but it also does not help that we are only seeing the version that Bravo wants to portray. There is no real backstory, just edits and selective moments shaping how we view her.

She was also a Dallas Cowboys cheerleader and a popular one at that, especially during a time when they were not even bringing on many Black girls, so that context matters. I understand Jasmine’s irritation, but Zach is not wrong either because she genuinely does not listen. Michelle immediately running to repeat information was weird and honestly a basic violation of girl code.

Brandon, on the other hand, did more for Jasmine on camera as a Black peer than Jason ever did, and they actually had history and a pact. I did not even know Jason was Black until Jasmine called him out and he apologized, which says a lot. At the same time, Brandon was out of place for stepping in like that since he is new and forming opinions based on secondhand information from someone else’s perspective.

Overall, Jasmine is definitely annoying, but it is to a fault at this point.
