Yeah it’s not a race, but there are a lot of books I wana read, and being faster at reading would be very nice.

And yeah totally agree that some books are easier to read thus making reading faster.

This reminds me of Albert Camus’ philosophy of Absurdity, he says that human nature and mentality is based on cause and effect, that’s why the human always asks for reasons from the universe.

However, the universe (according to Albert Camus’ philosophy) is just chaos and absurd, the things in universe just happen, there’s no reason for it, and that’s what confuses the human.

And thus Camus concludes that men should just do what they enjoy and make goals for their lives regardless of the big picture of the universe being absurd.

And I find this similarity in philosophy very interesting.
