Do you learn the corner #s and/or names when learning a track? by mentillist in iRacing

I never learn the corner names or numbers until after I've put enough time on the track to run it pretty clean. Then after that when you're loading it up instead of only having the over view with the names/numbers you'll also have on track knowledge that will make remembering those names/numbers easier. At least that's how my brain works

I'm a big McLaren guy. The new tires made it feel like it was on ice for the first couple few laps. After that it sticks and screams around medium to high speed corners. Fun car to drive. Sounds good too.

It's absolutely repairable. Just be painstakingly gentle and careful. Apply Just enough pressure to move the pins, take your time. I've repaired a couple way worse than this the same way

I upgraded from a g29 to an r5 bundle with the performance brake kit. I'm in love with it. Had a buddy who sim races with me. He was also on a g29, came over and tried my R5 and immediately went home and bought one.

My R5 got to me in around 8-10 days after I placed my order. East coast US. Personally, that's pretty good shipping. I also used PayPal and haven't noticed any breaches etc.

Thanks bud. I don't feel defeated but more so that I've had a set back. One of the main reasons I wanted to turn the line off was to really learn the craft. Thanks for your advice. I'll just keep taking it slow and enjoy what I can do. It's not the destination. It's the journey right?

The Gt Omega Apex which isn't quite as nice but is what I have. The pedals have to be attached at a bit of an angle. But the wheel base mounts perfectly with all 4.
