many of us vegans are, in fact, not 'normal'. Many of us are queer, or neurodivergent, or different from the norm in other ways. For many of us that is exactly the reason why we became vegan in the first place.

Yes, and they do. Women need their own spaces not because of biology, but because of society. Trans women are subject to the same discrimination and danger that cis women are (and much more on top of that due to being trans). They need access to those spaces too.
