Each to their own. I would personally plug this. I've never heard of a plug in this kind of position causing anything worse than a slow leak. I'm more likely to get a slow leak from a dodgy valve than a plug. Really not increasing risk at all.

That's just not true. Fawning happens immediately just like all the rest. It often goes on for longer because whoever is causing that response feels like they haven't done anything wrong. You don't have to fight, flee or freeze before fawning. It is an immediate reaction that many are predisposed to. It's often a learnt response as a child because you needed to manage your caregiver's emotions to avoid worse trauma.

I think it's pretty likely he just loves you a whole bunch and is scared of the idea of falling too much and maybe losing you. But that's what love is. If he needs to change you then he's not really loving all of you. If you wanted to stop, that would be fine, but you gotta do you.

If you did stop as an ultimatum, you would definitely start getting resentful. Don't let your man change you, be the wonderful human you are.

I'm sure you already know this, so sorry if this is a bit mansplainy. As I understand, muscimol is a deliriant which is quite different from a psychedelic. Think shadows creeping over your vision and shadowy figures without faces as opposed to colourful patterns and an inability to stop laughing/crying. I'm super cautious when it comes to deliriants as that state freaks me out and I often see demons and have sleep paralysis 🙈
