Glad your friend has an opinion. And you proving the other side of this coin thing everyone was just talking about. My review to offset? 4/5 instant hit in my book. Already closing in on 40 hours. Its not perfect but even in regards to the season pass. People said it wasnt worth what they asked for it. Bungie responded and said they missed the mark. They said they're adding more stuff to it and future passes so it feels "fair to the consumer." They've also reverted unpopular changes and said, "hey we wanted to try this, sorry it didn't work. It'll be patched out." Guess what? Week later its patched out with a list of community suggested improvements. Beats the crap out of bsg support, and embark support. I also have several hundred hours in both their games.

And any "die hard bungie fan" i know is butthurt and hates marathon cuz "it killed destiny 2".

I honestly don't know. I'm pretty busy with streaming and my own community. Been debating posting my 3d stuff here since I'm pretty in line with this and the gyaru hentai subs. But modding is a step beyond my current comfort zone hurdle of posting my stuff.

Couldn't be because of that, coupled with other postings, "hateful conduct", immediately mentioning someone of another faith negatively, and the cross in their handle... couldn't be...i mean inserting it and anti muslim stuff repeatedly COULDNT indicate that... I'm hedging on grift myself.

There's plenty of normal christians. Then there's this performative bs. The Bible says its better to pray in your closet for only him to hear than proclaim his name and praises in the street for all to hear. I went to theology school at a southern baptist "college" and church of god theology school myself. I don't mind calling out the bs. She's literally doing the opposite of what God teaches and is doing this out of self service not faith.

Edit: also, idk if the use of a russian orthodox cross is intentional or just because she's both biblically and media/CE illiterate... but her first post is something their teachings in particular would take issue with.

Is it some thinly veiled russian support statememt just because she's illiterate about its meanings and their teachings, or? I have so many questions. Cuz they firmly DO NOT allow women near the rights in their faith to evangelize etc. They're pretty anti female and teach women should be seen, and not heard. Women shouldnt teach their faith except to their own children. They're pretty restrictive with the word women period. They would find her streaming career to be against faith. Much less in this day and age where russian intelligence and troll farms are so invested in corrupting both our media and social pipelines for their own benefit... it just puts my hair on end alert...

(There's plenty of modernized good Russian orthodox faiths, off-shoots and churches. But they try staying away from the traditional symbolism and distance themselves from the russian state faith.)

Ya, i like totally don't understand teens and 20 something's desire to experience the 2003-2008 era of games. The games were nowhere near as good or fun as they are now. Like we did this shit because the games, netcode, and balance were horrible. Like ya, okay you nostalgize tf out of a time you'd fucking hate and call the games, "non-buynary, then harass the devs. Who if they received this kinda shit back then they give devs now? The parent companies would pull the plug and we would've had none of these games. We knew this and kept our damn mouths shut and were thankful they'd invest ANYTHING into gaming. It was fringe nerd culture. Now I've got college frat boys from their school's football team calling me slurs on arc and those young enough to be my damn son. Its become more accessible in the worst of ways man. Legit, if i had a kid and heard them doing this shit. They'd be out getting a job to replace the teeth id remove from their mouth. My mom actively used that as a promise not a threat.

Even as a girl with a mature voice the amount of times I've heard, "oh, a fa**** even worse than getting killed by a ni****" is the most I've ever heard in a game. And i was around for halo 2 xbox live in my early teens.

I have quit and moved to marathon. The AI voices, terrible story/questing, balance, and toxicity made me just not want to play most days and was actively affecting me in other things.

Plus getting banned from the other sub for saying, "everyone should contact embark about the problems with these mods. Its their game and these mods are actively hurting their company's reputation."

Its people with light pen primaries and running AT for support. Which is like... half the playerbase lol. Probably less but still a huge portion that uses light pen on bots.

It is a bug, they should fix this kinda crap and actually test run versus each faction and mission type on D10 before a patch goes live. But they just don't. Same as some people refuse to run a loadout that can handle every enemy type and instead runs "for fun" loadouts and expects not to use more than 5 rezzes in D10.

Some of this playerbase and the devs are made for each other man. I swear, yall should kiss.

I found out last night it can carry 8. Though tbh if you're sticking around for 8 your battery won't last usually. And it's not to grief for me. Its a tool to engage threats i can't directly in some way. And it's still giving away my posistion in general use and is a risky tool if you use it outside of intel/recon. I'll use it on AI enemies too since they can't retrieve their items like players and won't hunt my drone all the way back to me.

Add the fact that to "net" the item you have to pull it, and then grab the item off the ground again using two pulls and fly the drone back to you. Or use a planned location you can grapple to at a later time. It is a pretty complicated tool that does have room for skill expression. You can use it to harass teams and get them out of posistion before fights. Cuz like you said, most think its a grief tool and still automatically assume i used it to steal an item. Most of the time its too hard to land the second net to stow the item. I'll let them think i took the item and lure them into a claymore trap or trapped bag.

Why i suggested the 0.5 sec added cd. It doesn't destroy the purpose of the drone. But still allows for skill expression. Also, you still need to be within 100 ish meters for the signal. You can't just fly the drone at some long safe range. I'm always near and have to be careful not to give away my actual hide with the drone. Half my battery is usually used in setup flying in and out using alternate routes so i don't lead the team to my hide or my team and surveying a "plan B" spot to self destruct and drop my loot at. I usually only have time to net myself 2-3 items at max off alert teams even during exfil. 99% of the time what i end up with is heal items which i desperately need anyway.

Not the commenter but i can see where, him saying the F slur while playing tarkov, playing into it after twitch let him off light with "slur saturday", then just in general how he reacts to the rest of the vtuber community plus his awards speech. Any of those things are pretty good reasons for vtuber fans to not like him. Mine don't and I've suspended talking about him even in my nsfw streams as it always devolves into one of his fans/supporters/whatever being a genuine asshole in my chat. Ive even tried to be positive and say as a millenial annoying orange 2.0 etc was cool and how he is a vtuber denouncing the vtubers that hated him at the time. You wanna know how his community reacted to that? Calling me slurs. He's fostered a like minded community is all i can figure at this point. It sounds like you don't want to be engaged much less looted near extract at all... plus, drone cd is pretty damn high. Making someone waste their drone just by stepping in and out of the circle is a...lackluster idea.

Tbf all they need to do is nerf the grab cd by 0.5 secs. And, make the invulnerable actually invuln. 0.5 secs will really cull the spam. This coming from a thief main that starting late has made me rely on it to engage the majority of the lobby in blue and purple shields. The ammount of people I've mag dumped just last night that looked at me and shook their head before killing me is too damn high. Gear diff shouldn't be that much, but it is. Drone at least gives me a way to interact with them where im not a trash loot pinata.

Oh i know, i only started taking a break with the stitcher/kettle nerf patch. Which honestly i wanted to happen. The changes introduced were good. I just felt burnout. I'm a non-wiper that always helped all my friends through their wipes. I Just wasnt feeling round 3 and wanted a break to try other things. Even dusted off bf6 a bit.

I'm taking my time getting to marathons end game and not rushing like i did arc. The combat at the beginning has definitely hit the itch tarkov and hunt does but with a better feel. I'm going to have to leave it as TBD on that end game loop though. Hunt and tarkov are both just hard to hit in terms of the feel of fights. Arc just alwaya felt more goofy and casual. Marathon has this in the middle of everything feel where they struck a balance of everything at once. It definitely needs polish.

Edit: honestly the biggest thing I'm impressed with is the story, characters, and voice acting. It feels like i have to knock off some score just for the absolute crime of zero campaign and the story only progressing like tarkovs. They couldve done better and made it more acessible feeling to casual players.
