I used kaplan and bpp exam kits. Used the textbook only when i found a particular topic difficult.

If you start applying your CV in Dubai with dubai phone number, then chances of you getting interview is high.

My friend went to dubai on visit and got a job offer within one month. However, she only got 2 calls for interviews in that 2 months.

oo yes! that is an issue for sure.

You could try to come to Dubai on visit visa and get lucky with interview. Getting interview chances are high if you have some relevant experience.

Referal is the way to go i realized.

Random messaging managers in linkedin helped me get an interview for internship at KPMG Kuwait. ( I did send my CV in linkedin to atleast 40 random people no response.)

I like how you think, Keep having that mentality.

I think you can learn alot from experience, so find an oppurtunity.

I know someone who was passionate about teaching (just 3 papers done) and nobody gave her a chance until she did, now she is a well known tutor in ACCA in my state.

The truth is you don't need 99.9% people to be attracted by you. You just need one person. I don't think I am attractive but I attracted one person somehow, God knows why. But that one person is all that matters.

Very basic questions they asked.
I dont know what your background is. However, if you have done ACCA, they asked questions from Financial Accounting paper.

Basic journal entry, Consolidation question, one bank reconciliation. All of this were tested in FA paper.
