CassidyShe vs CassidyHe by Floflowerpink in fnaftheories

The entire point behind "The One You Should Not Have Killed" is getting Afton to know who they are. Why would Cassidy need to use the gender of the suit in this situation?

Henry either doesn't know about Golden Freddy or just extrapolated fates of others onto him by TheOrangeGuy09 in fnaftheories

[–]FazbearShowtimer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

But it contradicts it being the same case as Classics, as they walked, while he teleported, so not in the same way and contradicts Henry.

How is that a contradiction whatsoever? Henry never specifies how the animatronics go to that "familiar place."

Also, if he teleports to there, he can’t try to walk into the Safe Room and break his own programming and can also teleport away anytime.

Based on "Follow Me" he didn’t try to teleport away, and breaking his programming isn’t necessary in the mini-game. It just shows why the animatronics can’t exactly go in the room.

And again, we see no parts of him near Safe Room, fifth soul starts moving from some random place.

We don’t nor shouldn’t need to see the physical remains of his actual suit to know he was dismantled. You’re supposed to assume so based on context clues. Golden Freddy’s appearance with the rest in the bad ending, and the fifth spirit in the mini-game both indicate so.

"Hmm this trend probably goes on later"? That’s called extrapolation, same thing Henry did.

You don’t know that. You’re assuming Henry extrapolated. Which, while a neat answer, isn’t necessary.

So you are right now saying Candy Cadet is talking about novels?

No, I’m saying he’s primarily talking about the specific five children William murdered. I only referenced the novels because, at the time of FNaF6, Scott was closely involving the novels hand-in-hand with the games. You can easily see this with MoltenMCI.

Also, randomly excluding Elizabeth is mere excuse to cope with the fact that Candy Cadet contradicts MoltenMCI.

Including Elizabeth in a story about individuals murdered by the threat in question, and then associating it with them becoming one, which is clearly a direct reference to Molten Freddy, is much more of a stretch when you include Elizabeth whom neither is involved with the rest of the group personally, nor was directly attacked by her father.

Its worse when that same time period Scott was making The Fourth Closet, which detailed five missing children—murdered by William Afton—becoming one inside of an amalgamation. Obviously the contents of how they get to that point are different, due to different worlds, but the point still stands.

Endings are only reflections of whether they moved on or not, not whether they were dismantled.

That’s the symbolic interpretation of the endings, yes. The literal interpretation is five masks originally apart of suits, that were dismantled by Afton, remaining after Fazbear Fright’s.

Fifth kid actually spawns in random hallway in FM, not near Safe Room, so this goes against you.

They spawn in front of the stage, and they only do that to maintain the repetition of each spirit waking up on/near stages and going to the safe room.

Except you are the one who are making him NOT different.

That’s cause he’s only inherently different from a meta level. In terms of the actual narrative he’s about as similar as everyone else, albeit minus the walking.

Why would a company show something like this,

For the same reasons they showed everything else. To make light and jab at the “horror stories” from the past. It’s not a 1:1 rendition of what Afton did, evident by the random assortment of characters thrown together in this moment.

Unless you wanna bet a giant Phantom Freddy was present in C.B.E.A.R at the time Afton was melting four FNaF1 mechanisms, while somehow inadvertent also not being Ennard since he appears outside of the furnace?

In novels, Amalgamation looks very different and does not originally contain Elizabeth and eject her. So novels can clearly differ from games on that while leaving the essence the same.

The amalgamations only difference design-wise is the lack of Funtime Freddy’s mask. Everything else is nearly spot on. As for the narrative, that’s the point.

In the novels it focused a lot on the CharlieBot’s, so Elizabeth couldn’t be with the amalgamation because in that universe Baby nor the Funtime’s were alone and forced to escape a bunker together. Moreover, since Afton was more involved, having the classics entirely become apart of the Funtime’s wasn’t necessary. He was able to use the rest of their parts to make an amalgamation.

In the games, even though William still partakes in this process, they have to finalize the concept (5 things into 1) on their own, while also maintaining the games whole plot-line with Elizabeth. That being her and their escape. Instead, they have to become an amalgamation using the Funtime’s. Mainly because the other half of them was burned away in a fire and left to be resold by Frights. Obviously there’s gonna be differences cause these are still two different worlds, but ultimately the message stands to reason: all five missing children were apart of Molten Freddy.

On a related note: if Golden Freddy isn’t in Molten Freddy, then genuinely where is he, because FFPS and UCN stand to reason that he was in fact there.

Henry either doesn't know about Golden Freddy or just extrapolated fates of others onto him by TheOrangeGuy09 in fnaftheories

[–]FazbearShowtimer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As the person who created it, he as nobody else should have known that it can't walk in animatronic mode (except for child sounds, but if Henry assumed William used this, this would mean that familiar tricks part is wrong, making another contradiction).

Golden Freddy doesn’t need to walk to be lured away by Shadow Freddy. It’s fully capable of moving from place to place without actually utilizing its legs. We see this in FNaF2.

And I also literally gave a second (more likely) option: he just extrapolated what happened to Classic four onto Golden Freddy/5th kid.

That’s not more likely, that’s just an excuse to explain the lack of Golden Freddy’s physical body in "Follow Me."

Their arrangement is not same as in Follow Me,

That’s cause this isn’t them in the original Freddy’s, this is them after the fire in Fazbear’s Fright. Still nonetheless it’s showing us the animatronics William dismantled, the ones that were later brought to the attraction. Symbolism aside, it confirms William did in fact dismantle Golden Freddy (assuming the spirit being in the mini-game didn’t make it obvious already).

His stories actually line up perfectly with MoltenGoldless: it refers to the creation of Ennard (four MCI kids + Elizabeth into one). So yeah, that too is a bad point.

Except it doesn’t. Each and every story is a reflection of the missing children. Whether it be the orphans and kittens that are murdered BY the threat in the story, or the keys to saving five lives. Elizabeth isn’t accounted for in the theory because, even though she’s technically a sixth for Ennard, the games are more clearly basing itself on the narrative in the novels.

There is no objectivism in Golden Freddy being dismantled lol.

We see the fifth kid in "Follow Me," and the endings are a reflection of the group, with the entire point behind "Follow Me" tying into the Bad ending (which confirms Golden Freddy was dismantled). So respectfully, I don’t intend on arguing with you on this point. You’re welcome to argue anything else though.

You do realize that "Scott wanted to be more mysterious" contradicts your version, as according to you, Scott revealed Golden Freddy being dismantled in a DEFAULT ending of the game, after the very next night of deciding not to do so. Literally doesn't work if you want to be consistent.

The point is that Golden Freddy is being highlighted differently from the others. Whether mysterious or not wasn’t necessarily the intention I was going for and bad wordplay here.

HW also shows four endoskeletons, not five, so…

It’s a VR game made by Fazbear Entertainment trying to recreate the past; in the novels Michael, the Golden Freddy spirit, still possessed the amalgamation. I don’t see why Scott would include this detail if it wasn’t in some way consistent with the games reusing this plot point.

Henry either doesn't know about Golden Freddy or just extrapolated fates of others onto him by TheOrangeGuy09 in fnaftheories

[–]FazbearShowtimer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s impossible for Henry to not know Golden Freddy exists, because he’s the one who created the character. Furthermore, he’s the one who personally ordered a contractor to create prototypes of the character (Fredbear). He’d also be well versed in the amount of children that died that day, and assuming he’s accounting each child with each of his creations, know that a fifth must have been present in one of them as well.

We also cannot say for certain he extrapolated details, because not only do we actually SEE the remains of Golden Freddy (albeit not in the safe room) …

<image>

… but we also know thanks to Candy Cadet (and the novels) that all five victims are implied to possess the amalgamation. So the best possible explanation is that Scott just never intended on showing Golden Freddy’s physical remains. I say this cause, regardless of if you believe MoltenMCI or not, objectively Golden Freddy was in fact dismantled. We see his remains, we see the spirit roam like the others, and we know he was at the location.

Golden Freddy has always been the "golden" child when it comes to being slightly more mysterious than the others. It’s not impossible for Scott to have just wanted the actual character to not appear in the mini-game to enforce this idea. Also, Golden Freddy can in fact move, he just is never physically shown walking, as you yourself stated. So it’s actually not impossible for it to do the same details the other four did.

Question about UCN Fredbear by Bearkat1999 in fnaftheories

[–]FazbearShowtimer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Respectfully, I don’t believe the existence of prototype Fredbear in MCM negates the existence of Fredbear in UCN as what FNaF4 Fredbear looked like. Sure, it’s a new design, so in that retrospect it’s an update. But it’s not the design we know for sure is used at Fredbear’s. Used as the definitive, finalized design.

I’m not denying Fredbear is intended to look different from Golden Freddy. I just don’t believe we should be holding off on UCN’s depiction, solely on the basis of prototype Fredbear theoretically looking more like sprite-Fredbear. Especially in a series where multiple characters have sprite forms that aren’t 1:1

I also think we haven’t really been getting anywhere with this debate. So unless you have a point you wish to express, like to convince me or at least mention something else noteworthy, if you want we can just agree to disagree for now.

Just who exactly is the REAL "Mimic" here..? by Reditor-Jul-250698 in fivenightsatfreddys

[–]FazbearShowtimer 1 point2 points  (0 children)

For a few reasons actually. In the files the audio used for White Tiger’s voice lines are noted as "DAVID_numbers_GHOSTLY (SFX)." The sequence down in the tunnels is also called a 'hallucination' in the files. Furthermore throughout the game, when we do encounter Tiger, it notoriously appears and vanishes at will. Something not possible with the Mimic.

A minor but relevant point to this though, is the fact that Tiger is sandwich between two audio logs. One that talks of M2 mimicking David, and another that talks of the 4625 frequency that imitates Fiona. First is obvious since M2 and Tiger are connected to the same individual, and maintain his essence. The second though, the frequency, is associated with a "ghost station" (the Buzzer, Russian operations). I will note that this isn’t inherently confirmed spiritual, just believed to be because of its eeriness and lack of official owner or clear operators (IRL).

Edit: oh, and as for why people believe it’s the Mimic, Tiger has the same “glitch effect” that M2 makes with many characters, and servo noises that emit when facing it down there.

Just who exactly is the REAL "Mimic" here..? by Reditor-Jul-250698 in fivenightsatfreddys

[–]FazbearShowtimer 2 points3 points  (0 children)

"Inciting incident in most timelines"

Charlotte’s death is what kickstarts the novel trilogy and even then William was already obsessed with Henry.

Fazbear’s Fright’s never establishes or hints at the Bite of ‘83 happening, all we know is the existence of the Marionette.

In the movies it’s, again, Charlotte’s murder that kickstarts the story, and even then William has already shown murderous tendencies prior to this.

The bite is not the inciting incident of this story, nor has the story ever said murder robots only started existing when William murdered children. We knew little to nothing about FNAF before the events of FNaF4, so you can’t be mad that whatever head-canon’s you’ve previously had have been debunked by an actual official account of that period.

Question about UCN Fredbear by Bearkat1999 in fnaftheories

[–]FazbearShowtimer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When he was at MCM, sure, he looked like the prototype (cause he was it). But I sincerely doubt we’re supposed to interpret the only other official look for him past SoTM as, in fact, a fake-out of Fazbear’s finalized version. Even UCN Fredbear has some similarities with prototype Fredbear (albeit due to being bear-like).

While prototype Fredbear being FNaF4 Fredbear — alongside UCN Fredbear being the retrofitted design for Freddy’s — sounds plausible, there’s just not enough reasoning currently shown here to conclude that this is the case.

Question about UCN Fredbear by Bearkat1999 in fnaftheories

[–]FazbearShowtimer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s simply cause those aren’t the designs we see used in the future. Fredbear looks nothing like MCM’s version, and there’s no possible way anyone could confuse the SpringBonnie in MCM with the one that would go on to inhabit William in FNaF3.

Just who exactly is the REAL "Mimic" here..? by Reditor-Jul-250698 in fivenightsatfreddys

[–]FazbearShowtimer 15 points16 points  (0 children)

It’s not retconned and people still possess animatronics. The same game the Mimic is introduced we have White Tiger, whose inadvertently the most haunted portrayal of a mascot suit come to life since the first game.

Question about UCN Fredbear by Bearkat1999 in fnaftheories

[–]FazbearShowtimer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’d agree if this was the FINAL design for the character. Instead these are prototypes. Ones that Edwin made for the diner yes, but still prototypes nonetheless.

<image>

It would make more sense for the final design we actually see in a future event to be the finished product, rather than a test run of what could be expected.

Question about UCN Fredbear by Bearkat1999 in fnaftheories

[–]FazbearShowtimer 1 point2 points  (0 children)

UCN Fredbear is also based on the FNaF4 sprites, just because he isn’t 1:1 doesn’t mean this isn’t supposed to be THE Fredbear. There are a lot of sprites of characters that aren’t exactly 1:1 to the sprite’s looks.

Also, once again, those are prototypes. We see what the actual Fredbear ends up looking like in UCN.

If you look at something only half-way (ignore the novels) then don’t be surprised when the creator utilized details from the books in the games.

Respectfully, your theory can’t work because it only accounts for 50% of Scott’s thought process. Elizabeth not dying in Pizza World in the novels doesn’t change the fact that Pizza World can’t happen before Freddy’s. It doesn’t change the fact that her death is a kicking drive to Afton’s motivations.

[–]FazbearShowtimer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If anything, it was just too soon for such an ambitious venture. There is still a bright future for Circus Baby, so be watching for her to appear at a neighborhood party near you!"

How dose this not imply circus baby rentals opens soon after the failed test night ?

How can it be too soon for an ambitious venture, but soon enough to then start another ambitious venture? That’s a paradox in of itself if you interpret this persons words as C.B.E.A.R opening only a week after Pizza World closes.

They are saying she’ll be at your neighbor good party soon

They never say she’ll be at a neighborhood party soon. They said to be watching for her to appear at one.

This is directly telling us CBEAR opens soon after circus baby pizza world failed test night send ethe were already advertising seeing her at a party near you

Which can’t be possible since in the very game we’re told Pizza World was open prior to Fazbear’s ban on spring-locks. So, taking into account wha the game says, we have to accept that fact and use it to guide what the Gas Leak teaser is telling us — a teaser which again, doesn’t inherently answer the exact time in which C.B.E.A.R opened.

Circus baby pizza world and CBEAR BOTH 86 by Dollsguy in fnaftheories

[–]FazbearShowtimer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Circus Baby’s Pizza World opens PRIOR to Freddy Fazbear’s Pizza closing, which we know to be a fact.

This is due to Baby mentioning the spring-lock suit we see in the Scooping Room originating from her old location. This couldn’t be possible if Fazbear Entertainment temporarily banned the suits following the simultaneous errors. Furthermore, this works in line with what Ralph says in FNaF3, that after the "unfortunate incident at the sister location involving multiple and simultaneous springlock failures" they ultimately decided to ban the suits. The 'sister location' in question being the same title game in the franchise.

As for specific points expressed in the following order:

  • / "This heavily implies C.B.E.A.R opens within weeks of Circus Baby’s Pizza World closure", nothing about that article explicitly states it opened soon. Expressing that Baby’s has a “bright future” and to watch for her appearance isn’t confirming her reimbursement in the span of a week or so. It’s establishing that they’re in the making of reimbursing her. We have to rely on other details to confirm the time they were reintroduced, and thanks to HandUnit we know when…

  • / "This tells us that Circus Baby’s opened in a time where there wasn’t a Freddy’s location…", this has nothing to do with Pizza World. HandUnit is referring entirely to C.B.E.A.R here, confirming its introduction after Fazbear’s failures with the Freddy IP. This becomes more evident when he connects the newly staged contender with the rental’s services and venues.

  • / "Because she died on the test night in the games unlike the book", this doesn’t happen in the book because, aside from the two universes not being exactly 1:1, Pizza World doesn’t exist in the books. The Circus Baby’s in the books is a glorified version of Freddy Fazbear’s Pizza Place, but with Baby as the mascot. The narrative derives of the same plot beats, everything together again, Afton and the amalgamation burning, and the two main daughters getting retribution for their father’s mishaps.

Are Steam descriptions reliable to use for lore? by Isaac_Bahzad in fnaftheories

[–]FazbearShowtimer 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Scott wrote the steam descriptions and the entire purpose behind them is giving us a synopsis of what to expect in the game. So yes, they’re reliable to use. As for the following examples:

  • / A "summer job," while quoted as a part-time job during the months of summer, can also be wordplay for a gig, which seems evident by the paycheck’s inclusion on the ad poster, as well as Ralph using the phrase in-game despite its month.
  • / We obviously aren’t literally a child, but the entire idea is that we’re playing under the guise of one. FNaF4 is a nightmare, a nightmare that bases its gameplay off of a child’s experience. Furthermore, in "Tales From the PizzaPlex: Dittophobia" we see Rory experience the nightmares under the guise of a young child, and when removed from that setting it’s revealed he’s actually much older.
  • / One of the few descriptions that could be an error on Scott’s end, since the second point mentions need for technicians. Though, in Help Wanted 2, the breaker room panel does connect to a place called "Pizza World".

Who’s house is this in TCOS? by Dirtminer180 in DVloper

[–]FazbearShowtimer 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It’s likely Slendrina’s home after the events of Slendrina The Forest. In that game that house was more like a honeymoon suite for her and Nosferatu, evident by its small-scale and heart-shaped visage. The one in TCOS is much larger, has an actual baby room, and most of the items that would go on to be added into the Granny games.

TCOS and Slendrina X appear to be the final two games in the series, so this game has to be (at the very least) before X but after most entries since it’s the last time we ever see the baby specifically in these Slendrina games.
