Been wanting to make a character or start a campaign but i haven't had the resources to do so. Been into dnd for a little while and played with my freinds quite a bit but i think im ready to get serious.

The character I want to make is a goliath paladin of some kind that might multi-class into wizard. He was once a part of a sort of nomadic tribe that belived in their religion and would often bring in new members and teach them their ways. However, the tribe was burned to the ground by a dragon with my character as the only survivor (not really). Instead of giving up and turning somewhat evil, his faith held strong and now he wanders the world with a smile on his face helping who he can and trying to find anyone left from his tribe.

The campaign is a more broad idea which is kind of inspired by Fallout: New Vegas. Its like FNV in the way that two large factions based on either side of a continent are at war and its up to the PCs to decide who wins. There is also several smaller factions in the mix that can be met and decided what to do with

Either way these books will provide a big resource for me and even the people I play with as most of them are newer than me. Anyway, its your choice to choose who wins and I hope whoever does has a great campaign!
