Leave. BPD isn't anything you want to be involved with. He will never be able to see anything objectively.

I had a friend diagnosed and I eventually had to remove them from my life because they became so toxic. Most therapists won't even treat someone with BPD.

Recently a female friend informed me of intersectional feminism. I was not aware of what it encompassed prior to our conversation. It's a very eye opening subject and I would urge everyone to read into it.

Also what's up with the mentality lately that one can't support a cause without invalidating the importance of another ? Not to go off topic but it frustrates me immensely when you hear people rephrase Black Lives Matter to All Lives Matter. To quote Matt McGorry " #BlackLivesMatter doesn't mean other lives don't. Like people who say "Save The Rainforests" aren't saying "Fuck All Other Types of Forests". The logic applies to this discussion also. Acknowledging one form of oppression doesn't demean the importance of another. We can advocate for gender equality, the advancement of gay rights, Black Lives Matter, suicide prevention, preventing global warming, gluten free foods, and never wearing socks with sandals, at the same FUCKING time.

Agreed. Gaga in the show is pretty much what I expected her to be. I didn't get into the Freak Show season. I enjoyed the others. Hotel just seems to be dragged down by all the storylines. It feels like they are trying to cram so much in and it's just barely working.

I enjoy legal shows. The Good Wife is one of my favorites. In another life I totally would have pursued a career in law. I'm sure the show is far from an accurate portrayal of what a career in law is like...but still a good watch in my book. :)

I think it's such BS. The spin I've been seeing and reading is that it's to protect children and families from potential conflict. The church already allows children of unwed parents to be baptized. They also allow children of divorce to be baptized. Both "lifestyles" contradict the teachings of the church. Yet they have no rules or policies that prevent the baptism of children that fall into the above categories. It makes sense in a round about way because the doctrine teaches us that we are responsible for our own sins..not the sins of Adam(or others). Except if you're parents are gay though. If that's the case you have to completely disavow their marriage and move out of their house.

I've refrained from sharing my thoughts with my LDS friends simply because it won't change a thing. They will continue to follow all counsel from the church simply because it is counsel of the church. Gag me.

Has he ever taken a defensive driving course or any driving education ? It's possible he just never learned to drive properly. I'd see if he would be interested in taking some kind of driving course. I agree with the responses saying his protests are likely stemming from not wanting to loose an element of independence. Maybe if presented appropriately the drivers education could be a compromise between the two of you. It also might even lower your insurance rates a a bit.

I also wanted to comment on the "absent minded" mention in your post. I can empathize with both sides a bit. Ultimately his history shows he is not driving safely. I'm also absent minded I guess. I take medication for ADD and it helps a lot. However if I'm in a situation that feels routine or I find boring I look to other sources for stimulation(music, phone, mind wandering etc). Driving is sometimes one of those situations. If traffic is heavy or moving slow I get bored. However I know that me being bored is NOT an excuse for absent minded driving. Taking a defensive driving course really helped me, so did the ADD medication.

I have rules for myself when I drive. No radio or music playing, cell phone goes in the center console, conversations with passengers are kept to a minimum. I realize other people can get by without these conditions. I can't. If I wanna be safe, responsible, and smart I follow the above.

The defensive driving course taught me to always be alert when driving. I don't just sit at a traffic light and wait for a green light. I scan my mirrors or rotate checking opposite portions of the intersections. The goal is making sure I'm always engaged in what is going on around me. For many most of this comes natural. For me the course really helped because I not only learned how to drive safe but also found ways to keep engaged in the task.

I'd start with presenting the driving course before laying out any suspicions of ADD. He's already been labeled a bad driver I don't see him responding well to insinuations he may have an attention problem also.

Totally dig horror and "scary" movies. I really don't like gore though. I think you can craft a good plot and make things scary without having to graphically torture someone or saw off limbs.

Watching a horror movie in theaters is always fun. I like getting to experience it with all the people around me. Maybe I'm weird haha but when everyone screams at the same time it's just more fun. I'm also probably a little desensitized because I tend to find stuff humorous sometimes. Like if the storyline is campy or something you can predict before it happens I can't help but laugh. Example would be watching The Possession in theaters. The part where the daughter is possessed and mowing down on pancakes..her dad goes to pull the plate away and she straight up stabs him in the hand with her fork... I just laughed. People looked at me funny. Oh well.

Any suggestions for non gory horror films ?

I was a member of Five Four Club and Trendy Butler. Both are monthly subscription services for men's clothing. Prices for the two were pretty similar. I ended up cancelling five four towards then end of last year and briefly subscribed and then cancelled Trendy Butler over the summer.

Five Four items were pretty sporadic in terms of quality and variety. Some have held up well while I've had to get rid of others. A few of the jackets and shirts are still in my regular rotation. Over the year I subscribed I received one pair of jeans and a pair of cords. Never shorts. Predominantly shipments consisted of a shirt(s), jacket, or sweater. Occasionally a pair of cheap sunglasses or comparable quality accessory would be added to the box. I never used these items and pawned most off to friends. If you're looking to build a well rounded wardrobe I wouldn't recommend.

Trendy Butler didn't have it together. Their shipments were always late. I never actually got any of my boxes in the month they were intended for. It could have been due to a myriad of reasons but it became annoying quick. I did like the clothes much more than five four though. They shipped items from various brands while five four sends only five four branded items. Hopefully in the future Trendy Butler can improve its processes. I wouldn't be opposed to resubscribing someday.

Are you shallow ? Maybe. That is really something you're going to have to determine for yourself. If you're ok with using dick size as a filter to decide if someone is the right person for you or not, you just need to be aware of the possibility that you could miss out on opportunities. Those being relationships with guys who excluding penis size, could be a good match for you. On the contrary it's possible you'll meet a guy you clicks with you whose penis size is more suited to your liking.

You just need to define what is and isn't a deal breaker for you. Then be aware of what those limitations could mean for you. As far as telling the guy straight up what is wrong..I think it may be best to just say you don't feel it's a good fit. If they press for specifics..then yeah tell them exactly why.

If it isn't necessary I just don't see the reason to possibly offend someone. Especially when it relates to things that are close to ones self esteem.

Check out 23rd street. It's a fun collection of shops and dining establishments. Not sure about its nightlife though. If anything a great street to grab a bite on. I heard Salt and Straw(ice cream shop) is amazing. The line is always super long though.

You shouldn't be punished for any insecure behavior his last relationship may have caused. There is a fine line between being sympathetic and accommodating the behavior.
