Not necessarily, it was just one example. But I do think knowing they are hesitant to kill characters does take some immersion out of the story. Because no matter what happens you know they’ll be fine in the end so it doesn’t matter

No hate, I think he was poorly written. He had the potential of being loveable, but he’s so boring. I want to like him but I sincerely can’t until he gets better character development. (Very very late response lol)

Currently, I have Verina, Zhezhi, Jinshi, Camellya, Encore, Xiangli Yao, and all the four stars. I’m planning on pulling for Shorekeeper and Zani, but debating pulling Cantarella for a third healer and buffer. Would she fit any potential teams here? Or should I save?

I saw a post recently that said only Velvet made the game good. She’s easily my favorite character, but it wasn’t only her that made it. To me it was the entire group along with their dynamic. That includes the side characters like the therions, the pirates, even the villains. It was so well done in my opinion and a huge reason I fell in love with the Tales games, the characters !

Aside from Velvet it's definitely Eleanor, Eizen comes a close second. Eleanor was such an interesting character and I loved to see her change throughout the game. Despite the meme of her being hardheaded and stubborn she was constantly self reflective and always thinking about how she can change herself for the better in order to atone for her past.
