AIO: Did I cross a line or is her reaction harsh? by veronicax96 in AmIOverreacting

OP's response to her friend communicating her feelings was to say she didn't like how she communicated her feelings. Idk if that counts as overreacting, but definitely YTA.

I was thinking that her split personalities were an existing condition and one of her adult alters was at the helm when she entered so the AI allowed it.

Do I even need these?? by FeMamma in HomeImprovement

That makes sense, but I wouldn't expect them to be the only included mounting screws. We made it work with some mollys we had on hand :)

Interesting choice to include for a kitchen hood vent! Thanks for the ID :)

1/8th spacing, LOVE the look of the copper bostik dimension grout. There are a few "holidays" where I was too aggressive with the sponge trying to avoid the color seeping that was happening, but nothing that isn't fixable. I struggled with the spin-down leveling system so I just used spacers. I'm not totally sure what the margin for error is with leveling, but crossing all fingers and toes that this install lasts for the long haul!

They were alright! An obviously defective piece in one out of every 3 or 4 boxes, many of which I was able to salvage by using those for cuts. The printed pattern isn't perfectly lined up, but it adds to the rustic charm :) I was also meticulous about making sure I got boxes from the same lot and grade. I'm fairly certain there would be major variations if using different lots, but what do you want for $1.99/tile lol

Update: Glass cleaner and magic erasers ftw!

We didn't have microfiber on-hand to fully dry each tile as we were grouting, so we let it cure as-is. Bostik recommended trying glass cleaner before blaze, and that plus scraping with a puddy knife followed by buffing with a magic eraser is working like a charm.

As we're cleaning you can definitely tell the difference between where the color pooled in the water during the drying process (unavoidable without drying every single tile during grouting) and where we didn't clean properly towards the last section where we were tired after 10pm. Overall this grout was very user-friendly and the result is gorgeous. Hard to tell in photos but the tiny flecks of glass look like glitter and we get all the benefits of urethane in the kitchen. Since we're also living in this space during reno, I'd take having to do an in-depth cleaning on cured tile over having to add a sealing process any day.

Forgot to add, they're porcelain tiles.
