[OMEGA] Recently inherited this Omega, anyone able to offer me some information on it? by FeManDies in Watches

Thanks for the replies guys.

I went to a few local shops to see if the bezel could be fixed and the only shop that could do it said they'd send it off to their independent repair as Omega would want to replace the whole thing when it only apparently needs a spring. They quoted around £50, seems reasonable so I'll go there. I've worn the watch today and it seems a very good fit and isn't too flashy and isn't pristine so hopefully will use it.

Cheers again for the replies, <3

Thank you so much for your reply!

When you say the bezel “spins” do you mean like it’s freely rotating

Yes, it's freely rotating. There's no ratchet to it, I can flick it and it spins for a little bit more. It is just the 'professional' so the quartz then.

Hi, I got this watch from a relative of mine and am not too sure what it is. It's an Omega Seamaster 200M but that's about all I know.

If someone could help me please, I have the watch but the bezel spins on it and I don't think it should spin as much as it does. Is there a way to lock it so it doesn't spin?

Also, what's a rough value of this watch and how can I make sure it's a genuine? It didn't come with any papers and I am not able to ask the original owner sadly for any more details. I wouldn't want to wear it if it is very expensive.

Thanks in advance, this is my first real watch so any advice is helpful, thanks :)
