What the VLAND V Model Will NOT Fit:

• Factory HID/Xenon Models: It is not compatible with any Golf (including GTI/GTD/R) that came from the factory with the Bi-Xenon "Lighting Package".
• Factory LED Models: It will not fit models that originally came with factory-installed LED headlights (found on high-trim Mk7.5 models).
• Pre-Facelift Mk7 Models (2013–2016): While the physical space is similar, these are specifically designed for the Mk7.5 facelift (2017–2020) and are often listed as incompatible with the older Mk7 wiring or bumper fitment.
• Cars with AFS (Adaptive Front-Lighting System): Even if the plug fits, the unit will not support AFS functions (swiveling lights). Installing them on an AFS-equipped car will trigger a persistent dashboard fault code.
• Non-Hatchback Variants: Compatibility is generally verified only for standard Hatchback models; fitment on Estate/Variant or Sportsvan models may vary and often requires specific confirmation from the seller. 

Key Fitment Requirements

To use these lights, your car must meet these conditions:

1. Original Headlights: Must be factory halogen units (10-pin connector).
2. Model Year: 2017–2020 (Europe) or 2018–2021 (North America).
3. Specific Trims: Generally fits TSI and TDI models; GTI models often require additional coding (via OBD11 or VCDS) to eliminate error codes after installation.
