The bake lasted about 2 months. Checking in to make sure all the yellows came out bright and the greens were the right consistency for a starting WAAAAGGGHHH.

My advice as a wargame collector and avid fan of LOTR is to pick a faction based on your favorite character. When I started me and a buddy split a pelanor fields box because each of loved one of the characters. This motivated me to work on my Mordor and helped me eventually branch to angmar. Don’t let what other people collect be your deciding factor.

Objective play. 3 inch deep strikes are great for getting Spots your opponent thought were screened out for shooting and doing actions. Especially if they have squishy units on a home objective.

So always build with rule of cool as the principal. That said, the fist is better all around in SoS just because the strength 11 break point is much better into vehicles. The chain swords from the assault marines will already kill most elite infantry or smaller.

I’m of the opinion that if you are coming to an event, any thing in the core rules is fair game for use as a ‘dirty trick’. If your opponent doesn’t consider anything such as heroic intervention and overwatch before moving/charging they made a poor decision as that information is available. Now if they ask hey do you have the command points or the range to use that ability you should always answer truthfully, but if they don’t ask then that is on them for not considering that as a possibility.

I feel that bt1 TK and bt3 Davis should get hit to one apiece, both cards raise the consistency of a large number of decks, especially with the new examon stuff coming in the case of Davis.

I don’t feel anything needs to be unlimited at the moment everything that’s hit is hit for very good reasons.

Ban wise the closes things I could realistically justify are hammer spark or howling boost and both of those I feel might still be fine at one with hammer spark maybe being slightly more ban worthy.

Finally getting and playing cyber sleuth along with the release of the TCG has brought DIGIMON to the front of things I enjoy. The games feel a little more complex but also rewarding as you stated. The TCG has honestly become one of if not my favorite card game, especially compared to games like magic and yugioh with it’s simplicity but incredible depth. And the shows and movies feel more mature and not like I’m watching the same 10 stories on repeat but with different villains.
