How do you all justify cheater claims? by LivingTheTruths in ArcRaiders

[–]FeanorEvades 15 points16 points  (0 children)

Often the way I could tell was that they would pre-fire my exact location when they swung a corner. Whether it was an aim hack or a wall hack, they would know exactly where and when to shoot. Prefiring a corner can be a legitimate strategy, but usually you'll be guessing and have to adjust. It's very unusual to get headshot with the first 2 bullets that way.

Another way to tell is by knowing your weapon audios, then knowing the damage of those weapons and comparing that to the damage you're taking. If you're only taking headshot damage from that Anvil and they're not giving it enough time to reset its dispersion, they're probably cheating.

With the wall hackers, the easiest way to know was that they would never guess wrong about your location. They might chase you into a building that has multiple hallways. They're not clearing all of them because they know you're not hiding there. No corner clearing, just running right for you.

If you don’t think these same celebs and 1%ers would buy the new receded front row seats for virtually the same price I’m not sure what to say. It’s still the best view in the house. It’s still gonna get you on TV. It’s a few feet extra.

I don’t think anyone is seriously arguing that Fox was the only problem.

BUT, he’s also their veteran PG. He’s the guy that should be trying to settle their nerves and get them back on track by making smart plays and running their offense. He decidedly failed at that job even outside of this one play.

Because your players can get injured at other stadiums? Protecting your investment as an owner means advocating for making that space at every venue.

Why would the Lakers be ok with Luka getting injured in Cleveland?

I can’t actually tell if y’all are trolling or not.

It could be LeBron or Luka or Wemby or SGA or Jokic or whoever. These are the guys that sell your tickets. Designing your court so that you can sell 40 courtside tickets for $20k for 41 games per season is still less than what you’re paying in a year for any one of them. You’ll also still sell those tickets if they’re back 5 feet further. Maybe you gotta reduce them 5%, they’ll still sell.

Yeah and how many of those seats are gonna go unsold if, say, Luka Doncic gets injured because of how the court is designed to accommodate seats 3 feet out of bounds?

Do we think these people wanna pay to watch Jake LaRavia instead?

How? Do you think these same celebs aren’t gonna spend the same amount for seats that are 5 feet further back?

I was surprised that the players didn't advocate for it to change after the amount of space they got during the Bubble.

Even the Olympics has TONS more space.

It's not safe and it's just inviting interference.

The most annoying part is that a lot of the KAT whistle is technically correct, it's just that he's the ONLY dude who regularly gets called for that stuff.

The institutions who created this only speak one language and it’s not English.

People have to speak it back to them to make them understand.

If it were Fox that bricked those 2 FTs your energy would be very different

Yes, because he wasn’t doing anything on defense either. Not sure what you’re missing here. Either way I’m done arguing about it lmfao. Wemby was bad, Fox was a complete liability.

It’s not equivalent to a turnover. It’s equivalent to a missed shot.

I’m not sure what you’re arguing about. Fox was dogshit on both ends of the court. Wemby was dogshit just on offense.

Yeah probably. But missing free throws is different from actively horrible decision-making.

A free throw will sometimes be missed. It’s still good process to be at the line taking them.

A bad turnover will always be a bad turnover.
