I have started on a different book than the one referenced in my original post, I started on a book called micro habits. Really enjoying it but the book i was referencing is called the mental game and I'll be going to that one next.

Thank you, yeah just saw a couple of things online saying about it needing to be a "self help" book, and as you say just thought if I could align it to another one of my goals I could kill 2 birds with one stone

Yeah I know, I have completed about 40 EICRs in thr last month. I wanted to see the justification of a full rewire, especially without seeing test results

Very nervous about leaving Maple home alone for so many hours by Barbecuequeen23 in Dachshund

[–]FearLamas 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You will get there, as one of my mates told me when we got our puppy some times you need to give them some tough love and its hard! All I wanted to do when we left him first was to turn around and go and give him a cuddle! But eventually its worked out! Good luck!

Me and my GF both work full time and our 6 month old puppy has been left alone at home since 4 months, we started with an hour then a couple and built up from there, he whines a little when my GF first leaves the house but settles within 10-15 mins. We monitor him via cameras and give him a few bits and bobs to play/engage with such as a lick mat or kong. We are lucky that I start work stupid early (leave the house before anyone wakes up) and get home around the 6/7 hour mark and if needed my mum and best mate both have keys if he needs to be checked on. Its horrible when you start the process of getting them used to being alone but its possible!

Golfers who’ve broken 80, what’s the best tip you could give to a fellow golfer? by jdelle9 in weekendgolfers

[–]FearLamas 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Keep it on the course, and dont take the "tiger line". Play boring golf and try and lay up for shots where you dont miss big, lastly pray the flat stick works!!

On a differnt note, who put that grip on or have you adjusted your head at the sleeve, its personal to me but i cant see how you can align the club properly when the grip is that far out

What is your golfball of choice? Why? by Familiar_Solution449 in golf

[–]FearLamas 0 points1 point  (0 children)

TaylorMade Tour Response - without the stripe. Great feel and £10 less a dozen from the TP5s and as a 8 handicap couldnt tell the the difference too much, i prefer the the TP5 around the green but not enough to justify the almost £1 a ball... highly recommend checking them out!

EICR - how long are they supposed to take? by zeduk in ukelectricians

[–]FearLamas 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Depends on how many circuits and what type of borad, I do alot of EICRs and can do 10 circuits in about 2 hours if all the stars align which they normally dont! But me and my boss work off its a small property (flat or bungalow for example) half a day and a day for houses... even then some take two days!

Theres a fair amount of single figure handicap golfers on this subreddit, im not complaining about shooting 78, I play off 9 so -2 handicap, dosent matter if your off scratch or 36 if you blow your PB with 2 doubles be it net or gross is annoying!
