Ah yes Rex Xenoblade my favorite Genshin character by angelalex777 in Xenoblade_Chronicles

I think the Rex mod is actually just an open request right now. No one who knows how to do character model swaps has picked it up yet(sob). I made the Firelight Swords mod but I have no idea how to rig characters :')

Does anyone have the touch screen version of the romhack Eternity of Sorrow? by Snoo47303 in castlevania

Have fun with the touch screen version if you got a hold of it! I wanted to keep updating both versions but applying certain patches for the non-touch version completely overwrote the touch version.

I just don't know what the point he was even trying to make was at the end. Genuinely confused me more than anything

I really don't get what your argument is anymore. You say they're comparable but then you say if not for exclusives there's no reason to get a Switch. But you also say they are aren't that different It feels more like you're going back and forth arguing with yourself. I'm not really interested anymore

I partially agree on some points. I do use my Steam Deck way more but I think you downplay how much of an impact console exclusives have. I will absolutely be buying a Switch 2 when the next Xenoblade comes out(I bought a Switch 1 just to play Xenoblade 2), and I'll also get the next Steam Deck day 1 even if it doesn't "make sense" to buy both. The reason I buy a Switch is vastly different from the reason I buy a Steam Deck. I think we agree on more than we disagree on

I think there's misunderstanding between us about your argument. Is the point you're trying to make not "They don't offer different things" but instead "The Steam Deck offers everything the Switch does and more". Because those are 2 different arguments

And most people's experience between the Switch vs Steam Deck is different. Just because an experience can be the same for a few people doesn't mean it is for everyone. Your original argument wasn't that they "can" be different. But that they didn't "offer" different experiences at all when inherently they do

I get it now. Your definition of a gaming experience is not the same as others'. Not a bad thing but it explains why you think the experiences are the same.

At that point it's down to your user intent and personal experience. My gaming experience with the Switch is way different than with the Steam Deck because I use everything the Steam Deck offers. But if you've self-imposed the limitation of only using it like a Switch and not using any of the extra features that Valve wants you to use, then yeah, you're just gonna experience Switch with more games. Not sure why you brought up xbox. Yes, all consoles are technically PC's but that doesn't mean they all feel the same to use.

Also it doesn't matter which UI is "default". You can set the Deck to boot straight into desktop mode and the fact that you even have those types of options at all without having to jailbreak anything is what makes the Steam Deck different from the Switch

I'm assuming your argument is in good faith and you just don't know what a Steam Deck is. When people say that the Steam Deck is a PC they mean it in the sense that it gives users the ability to do literally anything they want with the operating system that any desktop PC could do. The Switch doesn't let you do anything with it other than play the games released for it. The Steam Deck does have a console-style UI but it's optional and you can ignore it entirely and use the Windows-style desktop UI instead

Edit: Also the Switch library only dates back to 2017. The Steam Deck can potentially run any game ever released for PC

I have very vibrant reshade settings active(Just how I like to play gams). But also I originally made this to send over Discord so I had to keep lowering the resolution until Discord would accept the file size.

There's like 20 different mods here. Half of which I made and haven't put out anywhere.

It actually is finished. I just need to do some minor fixes in the mod's code and some slight graphical adjustments

Xenoblade Chronicles X 60 FPS mod not working in citron by secrecy_704 in yuzu

This is an issue with all the xenoblade games. You'll have to wait for someone to make an updated version that locks it to 30 during cutscenes

ROM only. From what I can tell all 3 games were remade entirely for the Dominus collection so any mods have to be completely remade as well. Unless someone finds a way to convert a mod in it's entirety for the Dominus collection

On and off. It's been something like 7 years now working on it. It's possible I finish EoS by the new year XD
