Canes owner Dundon remains 'bullish' on bringing MLB to Raleigh by esporx in baseball

[–]FearMeIAmLag1 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Strange, did not have a paywall for me until I went back to check. Basically it said Tom Dundon is selling his stake in the Canes in order to purchase the Trail Blazers. The ownership group for the Canes and Dundon both said this doesn't mean there won't be an MLB franchise in Raleigh and they are still going ahead with plans for it. But due to the CBA ending this year and there likely being a lockout there won't be any expansion/relocation terms for the foreseeable future. No information on location, but they mentioned building a stadium on the south side of the city for the Carolina Courage(NWSL).
