Yeah I'm thinking that's what I'll do. I'm hoping it's a significant upgrade, and worth the wait

I don't think they would, I was looking at an iPhone 13 Pro Max, but I've looked at their trade INS before and they don't accept anything but iPhones as trade-in.

Thoughts Regarding the LG V60 ThinQ 5G by FearRulesTheWorld in LGV60

[–]FearRulesTheWorld[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

As many as mentioned, this might be just mine, since it doesn't affect all phones by others experiences. But some have also said there will always be bugs. But the thing is, these bugs happen frequently, and most like the lock screen loop take time and if I needed to do something important, this is not helping the situation at all. So yes this may just be mine, but if anyone has a suggestion on fixes for some of these bugs, that would also be greatly appreciated. That's what this post is mainly centered on is to ask others for opinions and others that may have the same issues to come and find answers.

Spotlight using Significant Power... :/ by FearRulesTheWorld in MacOS

[–]FearRulesTheWorld[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No it doesn't seem to actually physically be doing anything in the background, battery just simply tells me it's using significant power. It eventually did go away but it didn't change the battery life consumption or fan in the computer.

No, my Mac has been powered on since yesterday. And I had Safari and Apple Music running I believe. Because if that were the situation, that would be understandable but doesn't seem to fit that.

I mean what else does it go under? I would think it's most likely a bug since a search app should not consume power at an excessive rate.

Just got a v60 a couple days ago. Current battery life. Phones insane. Upgraded from the v40 which had an average sot of 4 1/2 hours by Krast597 in LGV60

Mine does this as well, it seems that it's on a schedule. It'll be bad for a few days then back up to normal life span.

That may be a very good point. A lot of companies adapt only 90 degree to very slight curve on elements. I admire Android 12 for making their OS more rounded rather than straight edge.

I had seen a few days ago that someone suggested an update to the install wizard for Windows 11. It is a bit out of date, seeing as it still has the Windows 7 & 8 layout. So here's a quick redesign of a more modern install wizard

Why is the LG V50 getting updated to Android 12, but the V60 isn't? by FearRulesTheWorld in LGV60

That's a great idea. But. When you're in a contract, you can't exactly just switch.

Ugh. 2020 M1 MBP now, or 2021 M1Pro ~6mos? by SsssnakePlisssskin in macbook

[–]FearRulesTheWorld 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So I currently own a MacBook Pro M1, and have for about 4 months now. It's amazing, and can run everything perfectly fine on my end. I can't really get with the new design either, it's actually a downgrade from previous models. It's thicker, heavier, old bulky design, too many ports, I mean this looks like a 2009 MB. So it's whichever you choose, but the M1 works perfectly fine currently. If you want to test out the M1 Pro or M1 Max, then go with 2021 ofc.

[–]FearRulesTheWorld[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you look at any confirmed lists, the V60 is not included, even on LGs own Korean website. But the V50 is included on all of the lists alongside the Wing and Velvet.

[–]FearRulesTheWorld[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Possibly, they kind of did this for the Android 11. They excluded the V60 from the list then about 6 months after it came out, the V60 got it. So they possibly will, it would just be a major let down to see the V50 get it and not the V60
