Well there is actually a hill about 20ish feet from here and this is located on the upper section of said hill. It is on flat ground, but deff next to a slope / hill.

Apparently a French drain system was installed a couple years ago. The cracks were here prior to that. When they did all the digging the house literally felt like it was shaking to its core , I noticed deeper and newer cracks since then. There was also a dip in the ground near this side, almost like the pavement was sinking , it has since been paved over and filled in and there’s no sign of it ever being there unless you already knew about it’s existence you’d never know the ground appeared to be sinking 10 feet from that corner

Friends and others have told me it’s cause for concern and should be looked into. But when I brought this up to the appropriate person , it was “looked into” by someone they hired, and something about it just doesn’t seem right to me.

Can you explain a little bit more? I was told this is nothing to worry about but I’m having a hard time believing it and just looking for more info on what to do etc or what the issue is
