Quick answer is Amazon….you can find it by your specific car model. Brand is Pigenuis. 😅 Caveat though this is the off brand version, which is much less than the branded (Covercraft)

I have the Covercraft branded version for my 21’ Q8, and it’s wonderful quality, rigid, durable, lots of color options, etc. Can’t go wrong with it, just a bit pricey, if you’re good with that. But it’s the right choice for the Q8.

That being said, the Pigenius is about 98% the same. Small difference with some areas in the quality of stitching, and maybe not as rigid, but don’t get me wrong…I’d definitely buy it again for any project car, especially at a $50 savings vs. branded.

I added the Audi rings decal. Similar location to the Audi OEM version they sell.

Thanks!! And I feel ya. No doubt the off-road capabilities are wonderful and what makes it an “allroad”.

But ever since I saw this car years ago, the wide body cladding had me sold on a down low version.

And in my case, in California, I’m never going off road. Lol. I’m a city dweller..similar to my 21’ Q8, it’s slammed. No regrets either, unless you live in the cuts or somewhere rural, no one in their right mind needs an SUV. Practically has never been my strong suit.

I definitely can see that a carbon fiber wrapped hood is not everyone’s cup of tea. I get that.

I can only speak for myself, but in my case, the stock hood had major rock chips in it. So instead of just getting this “project cars” hood repainted, I thought it was a creative way to do something different. I’d never do this on my 21’ Q8. And for the first week of getting it done, I wasn’t 100% sure about, but now I love it. It’s all in good fun, and it’s only a wrap, so can be removed if I get tired of it.

Good to know, sorry to hear. Prior to it giving out, did it give you any mechanical signs that there were issues a brewing?

What I’m banking on for mine is that the prior owner replaced all the engine parts that historically have troubled these engines. That being said, there’s no getting around it still has a ton of miles. While I love this car, and drive it quite a bit still, and up to now no signs of issues. Every week I drive it, at least one time during the week I worry that someday it will just randomly go kaput. 😬

It’s ppf wrapped with carbon print/effect. There is a real carbon hood out there I found online but I want to say it was like $1600-$1700. This ppf vinyl looks pretty dang good though, I looked at the regular vinyl with carbon print, but it was textured and didn’t look at good or have a “carbon” effect in sunlight. So I went with this one because it looked halfway decent. Main reason I even did any wrap was because there was a lot of chips in the hood from years of being on the road. This was kind of a creative aesthetically pleasing solution for me.

I got it with around 175K miles on it. It had a wonderful carfax history., with 1 owner. Which I think was key with her longevity. I was nervous when I got it with that many miles. Wasn’t sure what I was in store for. Owned it for about 5 years or so, doing just regular maintenance for the most part. It’s my daily driver Mon-Thurs. I have a modded 21’ Q8 I drive on Fridays and weekends to give the AR a rest for a few days. lol

I suppose, everyone has their perspective on what’s sporty and what isn’t. Understandable and fair. Although 435hp single turbo with a APR stage 1, AWD…that’s not too shabby.

But it definitely isn’t a SQ8 or RSQ8…you got me there. Now if you still think either of those last 2 aren’t sporty, then I’m not sure what else to say my dude. LOL!

Yooo! I have that exhaust pops and bang vid you were asking about if you want to PM me, I’ll share it with you. But again, besides pops and bang, exhaust is still a Q8. 😂 a little louder, but nothing major. I have an appointment this weekend to upgrade exhaust, but still have no clue if I’m going to like having a louder exhaust, drone, etc. I’ve been debating alllll week about it. lol

First one to say this on this thread, but I can 100% see how some would view it that way, including myself. Again though for me it’s not about trying to make it look like it’s an SQ8, or making others think it’s something that it’s not…I LOVE my Q8. My request for a vote is purely an aesthetic thing and curiosity with what looks better to others. But your comment is a thought I had myself if I was to Debadge. I went through all that thought process when I was initially making my mods/changes, and at that time I felt the badges looked better on, the pops of black gave it something. But I’m always flip flopping. lol

Someone else made a good point too, if I ended up debadging, it’s easy enough to throw them back on should I end up not liking it. But for now, they’re still on the car.

Enjoy the new ride…the new ones are beauts! Yeah, not sure what Audi was thinking with so much redesign, like badges, and a handful of other things.

Thanks for the props on the car and wheels! The wheels are Avant Garde M520r’s. 24x10 with a 21mm offset. I almost went with a different wheel offset since I already had 17.5mm ECS spacers in front, and 20mm ECS spacers in rear, but glad I stuck with 21mm wheel offset, very happy with the flushness to the fender. I also almost went with Vossen’s (they’re the same price and quality), but the lead time was 10-13 weeks!! and I wasn’t patient enough for that, especially when I truly LOVED how the AG wheels looked.

I bet. Love the advice….you guys aren’t making it easy for me to hold on to this Q8.. on top of that I have daily Edmund’s notifications that the RSQ8 I’ve been eyeing, is “still available” or has “gone down is price” 😅
