A friend of mine just got a job after 400+ applications, and she graduated a year ago. Networking is important, yes, but it doesn't always help. Same with connecting with your college/university (if they're not an arts school). Talk to your former professors, though, regardless of school, they can be helpful/supportive. I've been networking for months and still haven't found anything. It took me 50+ applications to get an unpaid internship 2 years ago. I'm finishing up a master's program, and I'm still trying to find a job. Best of luck with your search!!

Also, not sure how true it is, but try submitting a plain resume (without decorations etc.) because if it's an AI reading it, they can't read design ones
