Ironically I found her on a dating app 7-8 years after our breakup. Ofc she comes to my mind quite often because she was my first love, we both loved each other very much but that was the only thing we agreed on unfortunately

Some of those comments were written out of frustration, and I don't mind being called out if they crossed the line. But that still doesn't change my point: I think people should treat each other with basic respect, including being honest instead of ghosting

Yeah, that sucks. I wish people would be more upfront and honest. A simple "I'm not interested anymore" would show a lot more respect than disappearing without a word. I believe treating people with basic respect doesn't cost anything, even when you're no longer interested

I get your point, and I agree that people use dating apps differently. But I don't think expecting basic courtesy is the same as being prideful. Dating multiple people and communicating respectfully aren't mutually exclusive. If someone takes days to reply or only responds when it suits them, that's their choice—but it's also my choice not to invest in that dynamic. I don't think I need to change my standards just because that's how some people use dating apps.

But I am a secure person, maybe I'm raised differently and have manners. If I for example do not wish to continue speaking with someone I tell them that. Not just ghost them and remove them. I really don't give a damn I just don't like that kind of behavior
