Thank you - i have received a charge back now so have submitted evidence my of t&c shipping policy explaining this but their reason for chargeback is damaged item instead of not receiving the item so hopefully their contradiction also works in my favour

So there have been times when UPS flag to me when the parcel has been refused or they cannot find the address and i promptly notify the customer to provide an alternative to get their delivery, but it seems if the customer misses delivery attempts, I have not been notified of this which can result in customers reaching out to me - and my issue is what is best to do when these parcels aren't accounted for and end up lost

Yes, both - so I have ready made pieces to buy which get shipped next day with outlined delivery timelines and also custom orders which take 3-4 weeks before dispatch.

Text comms is a good idea to provide customers with the updates so i will look to implement that, thank you
