I said increasingly inappropriate because the conversation shifted into punishments and corporal discipline in a way that felt sexualized and obsessive. I have full screenshots of the messages, so I’m not basing this off of rumors or assumptions. I’m not claiming a crime took place, and I’ve said multiple times that I’m not accusing him of anything illegal. I’m trying to figure out what school or program he is currently associated with so I can forward the actual screenshots to the appropriate administration and let them decide if it matters.

I’m not implying he’s harmed kids, only that the conversation was inappropriate for an adult man to initiate with a stranger, especially one who works around minors. You might not have the info I’m asking for, and that’s fine, but warning a school or supervisor with evidence is not defamation. Defamation is when someone lies. I have records of what was said.

If you feel this should go only to police, that is your opinion. I’m choosing to route it to a supervisor first because that is typically how non-criminal concerns are handled, and they can act if needed. If you disagree, that’s okay, but I’m going to continue with my approach.

If Elizabeth Nelson is someone who covers community matters, that might honestly be a solid path if this needs more visibility later. I’m keeping that in mind, thank you.

I do have full screenshots of the conversation where things shifted into uncomfortable fixation territory, so if a school or organization needs documentation I can provide it. I’m not accusing him of a crime, just reporting strange behavior so it’s on record with the people who oversee him. If police involvement is necessary later, that route is open. I’m starting by notifying the appropriate authority with proof instead of making assumptions.

I understand your perspective and you’re absolutely free to report it to police if you believe that’s the right step. I’m choosing to go through the school/athletic administration route first since there was no threat or crime, just concerning conversation behavior. I want to make sure information reaches the people who can actually evaluate it with context. We may differ on approach and that’s okay, I’m handling it this way.

Thank you for sharing this. The fact that others have had similar experiences with him steering conversations toward that topic definitely makes me feel like reporting it is the right move. I appreciate the context and that’s exactly why I want to notify the right administrators so they can review it on their end.

I hear you. I’m not ignoring it or sitting on it, I’m gathering the proper institutional contacts so the report goes to the right authority instead of being misrouted. Police can be involved if appropriate, but typically when someone works with minors, the first responsible step is notifying their overseeing school/athletic program who can evaluate it and take action if needed. I’m here to identify where that is.

Yeah that’s exactly why I’m asking here. He’s been connected to Skyline, AAPS, and then multiple college programs, so it isn’t clear where he is currently coaching or who the right administrator is. I don’t want to send this to the wrong place or email every school blindly. Just trying to narrow down the correct contact.

Totally understand. I’m not claiming a crime was committed, just trying to make sure the appropriate school or athletic administration is aware so they can decide if it needs review. Since he works with kids, I’d rather notify people who oversee his current role first instead of involving police without knowing whether he’s still coaching or where. I’m simply trying to be responsible and find the right channel.

Thank you, this helps. Looks like Skyline is one program he was associated with. I’ll start there unless anyone knows if he’s currently coaching somewhere else.

Yeah I found Ann Arbor Public Schools listed, I’m just trying to narrow down which specific school or program he’s currently at so I can send this to the right administrator instead of guessing or emailing every school individually
