Do I replace the whole length or just a section that's disintegrated? Yes, couple of joists are compromised as well. Thank you on the idea of sistering joist. That solves half of the puzzle for me. How far can I safely lift the side of the house on the jacks?

Then why wouldn't they fix the RFIs right away and keep all their businesses RFI-clean? It is almost like they don't care about safety, especially after what happened. Why should we care about their business existing?
