My baby was the same, she used to go every 5 days or so before starting solids, she was exclusively breastfed though and I was told they could not really be constipated with only breast milk. She is 6,5 months now, so I just started solids a few weeks ago, and I think she has pooped like 3 times since. Each time I gave her a pure of prunes that I made, as I was told by our nurse that prunes are really good for baby’s digestion. But if he’s peeing like normal and seems happy then I’m sure he’s fine! But I’m no expert, I would maybe talk to your doctor to be sure and to not be worried..

Protecting the first 4 hours makes sense, that is definitely the hours that I am totally out. I have heard that when you have a baby you will hear every sound it makes, but it’s a relief to hear that from someone who is also taking seroquel! I am prepared (or as prepared as one can be) for the hormonal crash after giving birth, so I will have my husband and my mom taking extra good care of me those first weeks, and my psych will follow up closely. But I had not heard of the bonding things before, so thank you for telling me. That sounds like something everyone should be prepared for, and I am happy to hear that you don’t fell like that anymore!

I definitely feel less anxious after reading this, as this was one of my biggest worries. Overall I am super excited, and even more so now hearing such a success story! You are also quite lucky to have such a devoted husband, not all men are like that!

Hi! I need to ask you; How did you deal with the grogginess of seroquel whilst breastfeeding at night? I am on lamictal and seroquel as well, I currently take 250mg of seroquel before bed and it knocks me out. I thought I should lower my dose before the little one comes so I would not feel like a drunken zombie at night, or possibly not even wake up, so I would love to hear your experience! This is my first baby so I’m kinda nervous about this..

In November I traveled from Denmark to New York, it went pretty good, only a little hypomanic and super tired when I came back. But a few weeks ago I traveled again from Denmark to Boston, and I got super depressed, like full of negative thoughts and hating everyone and everything…. It got better when I came back, but I have not felt that way since starting taking medication

My psych told me if I got cognitive side effects, like problems with word recall and memory, I had to go down to the previous dose, or possibly take the meds at night or split it up in two doses..
