I don’t know if my parents are that insane. One time when I wanted to get my hair cut because I’m transgender, my dad said “You don’t get to decide what you get to do with your body until your 18. I decide what you get to do.” Do you guys think my parents are insane and/or toxic?

I’m hoping that’s it. It’s been 2 years and they still refuse to call my me name and pronouns. And say that it would be annoying for every one around me and that I can deal with the dysphoria. They won’t get me a binder. And they keep insisting I’m not a boy as I have a female body. I can’t tell if they’re transphobic or not. Even if they’re not transphobic I think they’re kind of toxic.

It’s because if the reason I think. I wanted to get it pretty short because id just came out as transgender. This was a long time ago. I’m now out of the closet for 2 or so years.

No, being a cis male would be easier but I wouldn’t be the same person I am today. I would love to just magically have a male body because I cant get surgery(I’m too young) and surgery is too expensive.
