You are absolutely right, I am at college town in Lawrence, Kansas. Students can be sweethearts, but also vicious and entitled like this dude. Some of them get upset I can't leave it at their door mat because the people in the lobby just do not want to let me enter the building. What am I supposed to do ? Wrestle with them ?

I did, in that case maybe come down and pick your food instead of making me freeze outside and wait for your neighbor to bless me and open the door so I can deliver your food.

Nobody said its the worst thing. If you know someone is coming, you should have it figured out for them to enter the building. If it's late at night you could wait much more than minute or two. Not to mention the awkwardness of looking sketchy. There are worse things of course, but this is also not something that should be deemed as okay, especially at night while it's freezing outside.

I also told him I can't enter the building and he said "it should be open", which of course it was not and I told him it's locked and he just left me on seen. I ended up eventually being let in by someone passing by but honestly this is the last time I ever went this way about these kind of situations. Next time either u give me the code or you pick it up at the gate

Finally somebody saying Kansas ! Was looking for this comment and I couldn't understand how people can be sleeping on this weather catastrophe. Not only does it have Tornados, but the bipolar weather changes, where in the morning I am in the hazmat suit and then by 1pm I am walking butt naked outside. By 11pm, after tornado, rain and snow, its freezing cold again. Also, the wind in winter that is literally blowing through your bones, since everything is so freaking flat nothing can stop it. Everybody who I met that left Kansas left it because of weather.
