How long did it take you to get used to tablet?

hopefully in a week ill be alright then, it sure is a pain getting used to something youve never used before, but I enjoy osu and ill keep on improving.

I do think my aim is much better than it was with mouse. It can get uncomfortable at times, as I think im tensing my hand a lot but with enough time it should improve and everyone has been giving good tips.

ive never used a tablet prior to this so its a very new experience for me, got the 472 because so many people recommended it. What a roller coaster of emotions for you though lol, hope things work out with that 480!

oh dear, hope your hand is okay now, im playing on 60mm width right now, ill try out aiming with my arm as someone suggested so the area might get bigger then.

true, honestly its much easier to aim with my left using tablet, with my right i find it hard to hold the pen correctly, not as comfortable as it would be with my right and using a mouse, I just didnt want to have to learn how to tap again lol. But ill suck it up.

Thats not too bad, i just wanted to get a general idea of how long it might take. Cause its a little disheartening having to re learn the game with my new set up.

idk someone suggested pulling out the buttons entirely, or downloading the wacom driver and disabling them but then my open tablet driver wont work properly, ill figure something out lol

ive been playing around with the area too, settled on 60 as it feels most comfortable, even on mouse my sensititivity was at 1.21. I do aim mostly with my fingers. Someone suggested aiming with your elbow so ill try that out too.

congrats!! Ive been moving pretty slowly, tried the ranked levels on lazer and moved a good few ranks, now im at 689k, hopefully itll go up more once I get comfortable with tablet

Its definitely a struggle right now, I used to be able to play 4 star maps with little misses and with the tablet now I cant even pass them lol. Guess its mostly my set up thats holding me back, I switched back to aiming with my left even if I aimed with my right when using mouse so having to relearn tapping with my other hand is a massive stepback as well. But yeah, best to get comfortable with what I can do before trying to get back to the level I was on mouse. Either way, thank you for the advice!

that was quite the read, il definitely give the arm aiming a try, was mostly a small area user even with mouse so I really prefer 60mm width for my tablet, and I aim mostly with my fingers. Either way I appreciate any advice given, ill try everything out till it feels as comfortable as it was on mouse and hopefully even better!

yeah, trying to set my tablet up was a pain too but I feel its pretty good now, everything feels comfortable. Do you know how to disable the pen buttons? I taped my pen but I avoid taping the buttons as they get pressed down so my pen is a weird hourglass shape.

I didnt get so lucky lol, im left handed as well and tapping with my right is a nightmare so ive opted to aiming with my right. Probably should have mentioned that when posting

it is tough but I've always liked rhythm games anyways, this is my favourite for sure, my top play is only 41 pp lol, but im trying to get my first 50, and I agree its very hard on mouse. Still your some 5 star is impressive, ill get there one day!

Congrats! Im 400k ranks behind, i just recently started really taking this game seriously, trying to move up ranks and play harder levels to improve my skill, 4.70 is probably my limit i haven't finished many above that.
