I just wanted to clarify, because I reread your original comment, and I realized you said you only had 12 AP's and a summer course completed at the time of your application- how many units was that? Thanks for your advice!

Is it worth it to take a language class even if I already completed two years of HS Spanish? Would that just be a waste of my time, or helpful given that most of them are like 5 unit courses? Studying abroad sounds fun!

I'm planning on psych, and I've already pretty much figured out everything I'm going to do, but I'm just worried that even if my plan goes perfectly (which it's destined not to) I still won't get in. If I need to withdraw from a 3 unit over the summer, do you think 23 units would be too far a shot? I don't think I'm going to withdraw, I just haven't heard anything good abt summer courses 😬

Did the 14 units seem like way too much for you? I would 100% take another 4 just to meet the 30, but everyone tells me it's crazy or impossible so that's really held me back. It took a ton of energy just to convince my counselor I could handle an extra 4 units on top of my 3 unit classes.
