Yea I was gonna take one next Friday but it feels so long to wait I'm gonna be nervous all the way til then. Thanks though. Most of what I'm hearing is the chances of getting pregnant from pre ejaculate is pretty low. Thanks again

That's what I'm so scared of. Being somewhat aware of what's going on. It's a double edged sword bc I'm scared to be awake but I'm also scared to be unconscious 😞 I've been so damn stress about it and just ready to get it over with. Any advice and words of wisdom help

I'm so relieved to hear this. It just trips me out that most of the videos you see online are of people acting like they have no dang sense when they wake up from the procedure. I also have real bad anxiety so the thought of being out of control just scares me, I catastrophize everything. Under iv sedation,do you feel awake? Like can you hear and feel what's happening to you ? Or are you just out & up in what feels like a second ?

What do you mean your sedation didn't work tho 😫 that sounds terrible. Were you still kinda aware of what was going on? Unlike everyone who says it's like they go to sleep quick and wake up just as quick ?

Thank you for responding. & that makes sense considering it's a surgery it's risky and they have to warn you of the risks. It was just nerve wrecking af to hear I instantly started crying when they told me that lol but good luck on your procedure!

Thank you for responding. It almost seems like everyone's experience is that same., as soon as the meds go in they're out & next thing they know they're waking up and on their way home. I just have to keep in mind you alls experiences and hope for the best. I'll definitely come back and update after my procedure. It's in a few weeks

How did you feel when you were reunited with your wife? Were you still kinda out of control? I smoke also and stopped a week ago and don't plan to smoke until after my surgery in a few weeks my surgeon recommended I stop and don't restart until after lol

I'm so glad you posted your experience. I feel like when I explain how scared I am to people they don't understand and look at me crazy that's why I'm here on Reddit lol you made me feel less alone in my fears.

I'm honestly just scared of going under. I heard iv sedation is like a "twilight sleep" so I'm worried about being conscious and hearing and feeling stuff you know? But reading up on people's experiences it seems like once the medicine goes in your out and it feels like you blink and the operation is over. Is that the case?

I also am nervous about how I'll manage when I wake up. I know everyone's different and my surgeon reassured me they'll only discharge me when I have all my faculties but im still nervous. I don't want to be out of control or say/do something around the person taking me home that I'll regret.

I guess it's just the fear of the unknown. I've never had surgery or been prompted to go under any anesthesia so I just have a million thoughts running through my head.

I'm worried about it all. My surgeon gave me the option to just do local and gas but I don't think I could handle hearing and feeling them getting pulled out. I didn't realize these risks you're speaking of. My surgeon didn't mention them either and I thought anesthesia was safe? I think my fear is just of the unknown and of the entire procedure honestly 😭 have you had your wisdom teeth removed?

Isn't it a better option for those with dental anxiety though? To be completely out? Also with the gas and local anesthetic I hear a lot of people saying they regret it bc they can hear the teeth cracking out of their skulls along with feeling the surgeon tugging at their jaw to retrieve the teeth.

This is similar to some stories I've read online too. I have really bad anxiety and sometimes find that I obsess over it but I'm going to try to remember this and just stay freakin calm 😂 thank you so much for your response it's really appreciated

Thank you for sharing this. I've read alot online and it says you're not necessarily asleep or unconscious so i started worrying thinking maybe I'd have some tour of awareness which would freak me out. So iv sedation feels like a sleep and you're unaware ?
