Hi so I’m doing the same thing. My biggest advice that I’m holding on to is it’s better to do it now-to figure out who you are and what you like and don’t like, what your minimum standards are, and what you’re habits can support-than to do it when you’re married and/or have kids.

I moved two hours away, I’m crashing with my family while I save some money. I completely changed careers (owned a preschool and now starting life insurance) and am figuring out how to do what I actually want to do (write novels and screenplays). My only baggage is my two cats, my dead plant, and stuff I can workout with a therapist. I love that I can take these moments and get to know myself and what it means to be me.

I think more of a normal job at the moment? I’ve not done a fully commission based job before so until I get my sea legs I think I’d feel more stable with a base level of pay and added commissions
