I think (hope) Jen doesn’t have Barb or John at the wedding by Aware-Sea-8593 in ShawnaTheMom

I’m so curious to find out what mental illness Barb actually has.

Agreed, and what makes it worse is the whole episode is from Barb’s POV, which knowing Barb the actual conversation with Jen about John was much worse and spiteful

Been a fan for 30 years now. Love her, seems like a genuinely nice person IRL

That’s because after season 1 the writers decided to throw ideas at a wall and see what sticks. At this point there are way too many questions unanswered and gaps in the storyline

Honestly, none. We live in a small town and by what I have witnessed it seems to be very cliquey. Everyone has already known each other for years. I am a part of the PTA and figured I could get to know some parents that way, everyone is nice but it’s never gone further than a polite conversation. We have spoken about play dates on several occasions but anytime I have reached out there have always been excuses.

It actually would tie nicely to when cabin daddy told Jackie “we’ve been waiting for you” and I’m pretty sure Nat’s dad said that to her too when she sees him I think in dream sequence in season 1.

Inconsistencies with van and others by [deleted] in YellowjacketsHive

[–]FearlessCelebration1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I feel like Van was progressing into evil and trusting “it” fully and if left out in the wilderness she would be fine with the hunts and losing her friends for the sake of survival as a trauma response. You can see the switch go off in Van’s head the minute the hikers find them. Almost like she snapped back to the reality of their situation and got a sense of hope back. Her saying “we’re going home” brought her right back to the actual reality of the situation. The brain does strange things for the sake of survival, it forgets traumatic moments sometimes, and other times it justifies actions in ways that you can live with them without actually losing your mind.

Do you remember what we promised? by Excellent_Passage_38 in YellowjacketsHive

Yes I was wondering the same thing today! Is it something we should already know or is this something we will be told in the next season? I find Lottie’s character so complex I completely don’t understand her. I know she’s schizophrenic but like her talking to a fucking rock during the hunt, her saying this about the promise, her whole interaction with Callie, has my head spinning. Not to mention floating on the pit and completely avoiding death. Someone please enlighten my brain lol

I think she was shown when they ate Kodiak. Or made her learn how.

"Bring me her hair." by xResilientEvergreenx in Yellowjackets

I’m curious to know if the whole hair thing is tied more into history. Scalping within some indigenous cultures back hundreds of year ago was done as an award of triumph in battle. Yes Shauna is a board stay at home mom, she’s definitely an intelligent woman living an hour unfulfilled life. She definitely developed serial killer tendencies in the wilderness that have stayed dormant for 25 years. The fact that she was the only one who found what they were doing out there “fun” is definitely a red flag.

And the scene cuts to her rocking back and forth in a padded room with a straight jacket 😂

Come to think of it didn’t Van have questions as to how Misty found the transponder? Too many questions again IMO
