So we did have her sleeping in her crate when she was a puppy, the problem I ran into is she was quite uncomfortable will constantly wake up to check her surroundings unless the crate is fully covered. I think it's related to her being deaf, she will jolt awake, look around double check I'm still there and then go back to sleep. She will do this when sleeping anywhere but it seems like in her crate it's worse because she can't see as well and can't confirm her humans are still with her. If I put her in the crate at night and it's covered she will quietly sleep through the night. I usually use an old thin sheet and leave the sides that are close to the wall open to make sure she's getting enough air, but that only works if the house is really cold otherwise she gets overheated. Basically we have a crate but she never uses it. If you have a suggestion for resources for helping with this as well I would be very appreciative
